@JayneOzanne Equally why does the Diocese care more about the complaints that they get regarding the LLF Chaplaincy than supporting the people who need itโs help and support?! #everythingaboutuswithoutus
@StNHeather I am so sorry that you experienced this! If it was not the nurses, please please please speak to a supervisor or another nurse and explain. It is not acceptable and they can (and should!) fight your corner and explain that this behaviour isnโt good enough!
@JayneOzanne@synod I hope and pray that you are successful but fear that the Bishops will just block it as they donโt want to discuss anything but their hollow apology
Harrowing words from a senior emergency medicine doctor showing the despair at not being able to provide the level of care every doctor hopes to for their patients. Every doctor, nurse & HCW can empathise with this right now.
Shared w/ permission. Pls RT to get this out there.
@clare_eliza Thankyou for the support. Please dispel the rumours that we are only striking for pay. We are striking for safety of patients safety. The hashtags should be #safestaffingsaveslives - the debate has been solely around pay and it is not the case! This is a safety strike!
@JayneOzanne When will they learn? One step forward and countless backwards. They can listen but they need to be listening to peopleโs lives experience before those people have had enough and leave the church.
@SorrelMayWood I am so sorry that you have experienced this. The Church needs to be better. It is not good enough. Jesus drew children near - we should do the same - along with offering a cuppa for the parent! Iโm sorry x
We are so excited to see that #DeathinParadise has been nominated for the returning drama award & @RalfLittle for drama performance at this year's #NationalTelevisionAwards! ๐

Waking up to the sad news that Archbishop Desmond Tutu has died. The whole Christian community around the world thanks God for his inspiring life of service and witness. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
@JayneOzanne I completely agree. However at a synod where they have refused to offer virtual attendance for shielding members does seem somewhat contradictory?
