Understanding how to make a new #malaria control tool successful, says CCP's @aprilcmonroe, involves:
➡️ talking to end users over time to understand experiences
➡️ identifying potential challenges
➡️ learning how to communicate about the tool effectively https://t.co/DSqz6xUGJc
🦟 Could an indoor mosquito repellent be a groundbreaking new tool in the fight against #malaria? Preliminary data on Mosquito Shield™ in Kenya are even more promising than CCP & AEGIS researchers expected.

Ifakara MasterClasses: lessons from leading experts on the battle against malaria
~
The Ifakara MasterClasses play a crucial role in uniting the global community to combat malaria. These classes involve discussions with experts, facilitating practical comprehension of malaria control topics. By bringing together researchers, postgraduate students, National Malaria Program officials, and advocates, these virtual sessions foster knowledge sharing and the exchange of best practices in malaria control. In a TrendsTalk, the organizers, hosts, and participant researchers provide a summary of five of the MasterClasses, emphasizing their commitment to promoting scientific discourse on malaria. This initiative strives to engage a broad audience by convening world-leading experts and facilitating discussions on technical knowledge and experiences related to malaria control
