🚨🚨🚨🚨Today the U.S. House passed the Sunshine Protection Act, advancing legislation that would make Daylight Saving Time permanent nationwide.
This is the biggest legislative step this issue has taken in years but it is not law.
The bill now moves to the U.S. Senate, where there is still an opportunity for it to be debated, amended, or rejected. If you care about health and circadian biology, this is the time to speak up.
The scientific case against permanent DST has become increasingly strong:
• Morning light is the most powerful signal for synchronizing the human circadian clock.
• Permanent DST delays sunrise for much of the year, especially in winter, reducing exposure to morning light when our brains need it most.
• Later sunrises are associated with chronic circadian misalignment, sleep loss, poorer mood, reduced alertness, and increased cardiometabolic risk.
• Studies comparing western versus eastern portions of time zones consistently show worse health outcomes where people experience later sunrises despite sharing the same clock time.
• The American Academy of Sleep Medicine and numerous sleep and circadian experts recommend permanent Standard Time, not permanent DST, as the option that best aligns with human biology.
The argument for permanent DST is largely one of convenience and preference for lighter evenings. The argument for permanent Standard Time is one of physiology and public health.
If you believe our laws should reflect the best available scientific evidence, now is the time to respectfully contact your U.S. Senators. Tell them that while ending the twice-yearly clock changes is a worthy goal, permanent Daylight Saving Time is not the healthiest solution. Ask them instead to support permanent Standard Time, which preserves the morning light our circadian system depends on.
Please REPOST this. The Senate has not yet voted, and informed voices can still make a difference.
@LeaderJohnThune is the Senate majority leader that will determine when this legislation comes to the Senate for debate. He should know how you feel.
Struggling to wrap my head around this. Tim Tebow gave Congress a map with 338,000+ unique IP addresses in the United States that have traded/shared images of children being sexually abused in the past 6 months and NOBODY is talking about it.
Let me explain what just happened, because I don’t think people realize how INSANE this is.
> Cortical Labs put 200,000 real human brain cells onto a silicon chip and trained them to play Doom in just one week.
> Each CL1 system costs $35,000.
> A rack of 30 units consumes only 850–1,000 watts combined.
> The human brain operates on 20 watts.
> Large AI training clusters burn through megawatts.
>Backed by In-Q-Tel.
115 units began shipping in 2025.
> Cortical Labs is selling “Wetware as a Service” through Cortical Cloud, letting developers deploy code remotely to living human neurons with no lab required,
> priced like a software subscription but powered by real brain cells grown from adult skin and blood samples.
> it isn’t about gaming, it’s about biological computing that could eventually outperform traditional silicon in energy efficiency and adaptability.
This is getting really scary and we’re still at the very beginning.
Remember Pfizer executive Jordan Trishton Walker?
He said, “There is something IRREGULAR about [vaccinated women’s] menstrual cycles,” adding, “people will have to investigate that.”
“Conspiracy theorists” like Naomi Wolf were called “batshit crazy” for noticing what women were screaming from the rooftops.
But the data proves they were right all along:
• 42% of women with regular cycles reported heavier bleeding than usual after vaccination
• 71% of women on birth control experienced breakthrough bleeding
• 66% of menopausal women (who should NEVER bleed) started bleeding again
• And in one major study, 78% of vaccinated women reported some form of menstrual disorder.
What did Rochelle Walensky’s CDC do? They tried to COVER IT UP.
This report reveals how far they went to silence women, bury the evidence, and who profited from it all. 🧵
NEW: 13-year-old Australian boy swims for four hours in cold and dangerous waters to save his mom and siblings who were swept into the ocean, says God is who got him to shore.
The family was on kayaks & paddleboards when they were swept about 2.5 miles out to sea.
After a conversation with his mother, Austin Appelbee decided he would swim back to shore to find help.
Appelbee says he prayed throughout the four-hour swim and told God he would get baptized if he made it out alive.
"I don't think it was actually me [swimming]... It was God the whole time. I kept on praying, kept on praying. I said to God, 'I'll get baptized.'"
"The waves are massive, and I have no life jacket on… I just kept thinking 'just keep swimming, just keep swimming,'" he said.
"And then I finally made it to shore, and I hit the bottom of the beach, and I just collapsed."
Appelbee says when he got to shore, he had to sprint for about a mile to find help.
According to AP, the family drifted 9 miles from Quindalup and spent 10 hours in the water.
When he reached the shore, Appelbee alerted authorities, who then sent out a helicopter to find his mom, 12-year-old brother, and 8-year-old sister.
Austin's mother, Joanne Appelbee, said one of the hardest decisions of her life was sending her son to shore.
"One of the hardest decisions I ever had to make was to say to Austin: 'Try and get to shore and get some help. This could get really serious really quickly,'" she said.
What a remarkable kid.

BREASTMILK
She thought she was studying milk.
What she uncovered was a conversation.
In 2008, evolutionary anthropologist Katie Hinde was working in a primate research lab in California, analyzing breast milk from rhesus macaque mothers. She had hundreds of samples and thousands of data points. Everything looked ordinary—until one pattern refused to go away.
Mothers raising sons produced milk richer in fat and protein.
Mothers raising daughters produced a larger volume with different nutrient balances.
It was consistent. Repeatable. And deeply uncomfortable for the scientific consensus.
Colleagues suggested error. Noise. Statistical coincidence.
But Katie trusted the data.
And the data pointed to a radical idea.
Milk is not just nutrition.
It is information.
For decades, biology treated breast milk as simple fuel. Calories in. Growth out. But if milk were only calories, why would it change depending on the sex of the baby?
Katie kept digging.
Across more than 250 mothers and over 700 sampling events, the story grew more complex. Younger, first-time mothers produced milk with fewer calories but significantly higher levels of cortisol—the stress hormone.
The babies who drank it grew faster.
They were also more alert, more cautious, more anxious.
Milk wasn’t just building bodies.
It was shaping behavior.
Then came the discovery that changed everything.
When a baby nurses, microscopic amounts of saliva flow back into the breast. That saliva carries biological signals about the infant’s immune system. If the baby is getting sick, the mother’s body detects it.
Within hours, the milk changes.
White blood cells surge.
Macrophages multiply.
Targeted antibodies appear.
When the baby recovers, the milk returns to baseline.
This was not coincidence.
It was call and response.
A biological dialogue refined over millions of years. Invisible—until someone thought to listen.
As Katie reviewed existing research, she noticed something unsettling. There were twice as many scientific studies on erectile dysfunction as on breast milk composition.
The first food every human consumes.
The substance that shaped our species.
Largely ignored.
So she did something bold.
She launched a blog with a deliberately provocative name: Mammals Suck Milk.
It exploded. Over a million readers in its first year. Parents. Doctors. Scientists. People asking questions research had skipped.
The discoveries kept coming.
Milk changes by time of day.
Foremilk differs from hindmilk.
Human milk contains over 200 oligosaccharides babies can’t digest—because they exist to feed beneficial gut bacteria.
Every mother’s milk is biologically unique.
In 2017, Katie brought this work to a TED stage. In 2020, it reached a global audience through Netflix’s Babies. Today, at Arizona State University’s Comparative Lactation Lab, she continues reshaping how medicine understands infant development, neonatal care, formula design, and public health.
The implications are staggering.
Milk has been evolving for more than 200 million years—longer than dinosaurs walked the Earth. What we once dismissed as simple nourishment is one of the most sophisticated communication systems biology has ever produced.
Katie Hinde didn’t just study milk.
She revealed that nourishment is intelligence.
A living, responsive system shaping who we become before we ever speak.
All because one scientist refused to accept that half the story was “measurement error.”
Sometimes the biggest revolutions begin by listening to what everyone else ignores.
I don’t want to be rich in the way the world keeps selling it to us.
I don’t need a £1 million house, designer clothes, or luxury holidays.
I don’t need excess.
I want to be rich enough to heal.
Rich enough to afford therapy without panic.
Rich enough to get a massage once a week because my body holds years of stress and trauma.
Rich enough to eat basic, nourishing food that actually supports my health.
Rich enough to have support when things get heavy not to face everything alone.
Most people think Amsterdam floats on canals.
Reality? It stands on millions of wooden piles—quietly holding up the city for 700+ years. 🔇
Because the ground is soft peat and clay, engineers drove pine and spruce poles 10–20 meters deep until they hit solid sand. No piles = no city.
Here’s the wild part:
🪵 Wood doesn’t rot underwater—no oxygen, no decay.
🚫 Expose it to air? The city literally starts to sink.
📉 Lower water levels + climate change = modern engineering déjà vu.
Amsterdam isn’t just historic. It’s one of the world’s longest-running infrastructure experiments—and a reminder that resilient cities are engineered first, admired second.
Tech, climate, infrastructure, legacy.
All hiding beneath your feet.

Children don’t “bounce back” from trauma.
They bury it.
And buried trauma doesn’t vanish it leaks out later as anxiety, rage, shame, addiction, and self-destruction.
So no, kids aren’t resilient.
They’re hurting.
Children don’t “grow out of it.”
They adapt.
And that adaptation looks like…
• People-pleasing
• Perfectionism
• Explosive anger
• Shutting down
• Constant fear of abandonment
That’s not resilience.
That’s survival.
When therapy language replaces the language of virtue, you end up with people who care more about feeling good than being good.
They stop asking, “Is this right?” and replace it with, “Does this feel good?”
A 17-year-old just built a mind-controlled prosthetic arm for $300.
Yes, $300.
For something that usually costs $450,000.
Let that hit you.
A teenager, working from home, used AI, cheap materials, and 23,000 lines of code to build a device that reads brain signals without surgery, without implants, and without a $450K price tag.
This is not a feel-good story.
It’s a warning shot.
How can a high school student build something 1,500× cheaper than the industry standard?
What does that say about innovation?
About pricing?
About who gets access to life-changing technology?
Of course, medical prosthetics are expensive for real reasons:
materials, testing, regulation, customization.
But let’s be honest — not all of that justifies a half-million-dollar price.
This story exposes a simple truth:
The future of accessibility won’t come from the system.
It will come from the outsiders who dare to challenge it.
If a 17-year-old can match top-tier prosthetics for a fraction of the cost…
why aren’t these solutions available to the millions who need them?
What do you think — breakthrough moment or the start of a bigger revolution?

Kelly Ryerson just announced a major win against Big Chem.
The EPA can no longer rely on the fake study they used for decades to defend glyphosate.
“I have some great news from the glyphosate cancer world.”
“There is a paper that was published in 2000. It is called the Williams paper. This study has been relied on by the EPA for two decades to claim that glyphosate does not cause cancer.”
“Well, during the cancer litigation, the lawyers found that that paper was actually ghostwritten by Monsanto and that it was fraudulent science.”
“We've been telling the EPA, ‘you shouldn't rely on this paper,’ but they still have been.”
“That paper was just retracted from the academic journal where it was originally published for exactly these reasons, that it was fraudulent science.”
“So now the EPA will not be able to rely on this foundational piece that they always point to to claim that glyphosate does not cause cancer.”
“So that is a win today in the pesticide world.”
An abandoned early-20th Century apartment building in Detroit, Michigan; Moorish Revival/Exotic Revival with Gothic Revival influences, architecturally. A masterpiece.
People don’t reach breaking point because they’re weak.
They reach it because they’ve been strong for far too long without support.
Because their pain was brushed aside.
Because they were expected to cope with what would crush anyone.
It’s not weakness that ends a life.
It’s isolation in the middle of unbearable suffering.
People love to preach “mental health matters”…
Right up until someone’s symptoms become inconvenient.
Then suddenly it’s attention seeking,
being dramatic, or making excuses.
Support isn’t real if it only exists when it’s easy.
Most Christian marriages don’t start dying in bed.
They start dying in the mind.
Not with “cheat.”
With:
“I deserve better than this.”
Hell doesn’t begin with divorce papers.
It begins with a thought that feels holy.
The snake doesn’t kick your door in screaming:
“LEAVE YOUR SPOUSE.”
He slips in quiet:
“She never really sees you.”
“He’s never going to change.”
“You’ve tried everything.”
“God wouldn’t want you to live like this.”
You call it “being honest with yourself.”
He calls it bait.
You know how this goes.
You stop seeing your mate as a soul.
They become a case file.
You stop praying for them.
You start prosecuting them in your head.
You stop guarding the covenant.
You start building the exit.
And you still take the kids to church.
Still post verses.
Still sing.
Dead eyes, Bible open.
If he can drag you far enough—cold enough, lonely enough, mad enough—he flips the script:
Before sin:
“It’s not a big deal. You deserve better.”
After sin:
“You ruined everything. God’s done with you.”
First he hands you the knife.
Then he calls you a monster for using it.
Same serpent.
Two poisons.
Christians are experts at baptizing demonic thoughts.
We slap verses on:
“I deserve better.”
“God wants me happy.”
“This isn’t what ‘abundant life’ means.”
Then we spiritualize our resentment.
Meanwhile:
“…the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth,
against whom thou hast dealt treacherously…”
— Malachi 2:14 (KJV)
God heard every internal monologue you never said out loud.
And no, “stay and get destroyed” is not the answer.
Abuse isn’t “suffering for Jesus.”
There are real boundaries, real danger, real sin that must be confronted.
But most of you aren’t in danger.
You’re in disappointment.
You married a sinner.
So did they.
You wanted a movie.
You got a war.
The devil doesn’t just want you to fall.
He wants you convinced there is no way home.
So he keeps that thought on loop:
“I deserve better than this.”
If you’re not careful, it starts sounding like the Holy Ghost.
It isn’t.
It’s a demon wearing your tone.
A better line to loop is simple, bloody, and not cute:
“Not my will, but thine.”
“Kill what’s twisted in me.
Show me where I’m blind.
Teach me when to stay, when to confront, when to flee danger.
But don’t let me call my bitterness holy.”
Hell wants your resentment first, your covenant second.
Don’t let a demonic thought sleep in your bed and call itself “finally being real.”
When someone dies by suicide, people ask:
Why didn’t they talk to someone?
What were they thinking?
How could they do that?
But when someone tries to open up, the world often says:
You’re overreacting.
You’ll be fine.
You’re too sensitive.
That’s life get on with it.
Silencing people in pain and then judging their silence is one of the cruellest things we do as a society.
