- Refrain from looking at your phone or holding it in your hand while we speak. If you're feeling anxious about the next meeting or need to leave soon, simply let the other person know that you have limited time, but would love to continue the conversation later on.

- Demonstrate your commitment by taking action. After determining if there's a good fit between your project and theirs, set up concrete next steps that reduce friction. It's invaluable.
