Can they still go after node operators abroad? Yes, but a node is any computer connected to the internet
They’d have to turn our society into a dystopian nightmare to be able to chase down enough nodes
Also, you are wildly overestimating how capable the US government is
Here is why the US gov won’t (or at least shouldn’t) do this:
1. Courts rule that any/many US-based nodes means all txs on Ethereum fall under gov purview
2. Ethereum upgrade to ignore US-based nodes
3. Ethereum is legally outside of US gov purview. No more regulatory capture
@MonetSupply Yunt Capital team is very unimpressive. They are only in it for the money and use pseudonymity to optimize for short term alignment on everything. Sketch
@damedoteth Rainbow has limited resources and a big mission unrelated to LGBTQ rights
Your boss is not responsible for saving you when promoting cancel culture blows up in your face
Im in crypto for the uncensorable cypherpunk shit, not to have someone impose their morals on me
@NFTwap@templedao Agree that its a bit risky to invest in trying to get the Fire Ritual role with no clear set of rules to get there.
This is intentional gamification. Figuring out what to do is like playing Oregon Trail but much harder. The output of your work actually builds the DAO
I think this is one of the most interesting experiments in community building in the space right now, and can't wait to see where we are going to take this.
Papa Biden will turn that money printer back on soon.
Where do you go when your dollar-pegged stablecoins depreciate at the same time as risky tokens threaten the stability of DeFi?
Where do you go when you need a safe place to rest?
You go to the $TEMPLE
This results in an engaged governing body and a faithful group of evangelizers right from the get-go. You get a DAO built by those aligned with the long-term mission, not degens looking for a quick flip. And check out the VIBES on their voice channel: https://t.co/8KvRXASciX
