@Skillful__@Sebbywebz But... you are ignoring that the first part annoyed many of us fans of the original enough not to buy part II. I hated the idea of a trilogy, but wanted to like the Remake so badly.
Only to have to deal with stupid ghosts, a fight against Sephiroh shadow at the end and shit.
@Fenrirtheicewo1 That line was there in the original Stan and Ditko comics, bruh. That was the intent behind it.
That said, the problem is people take it too literally. It meant that anyone could be a hero.
@ShitpostRock What blows my mind is that Kirkman himself does the script. But then again, he is a decade removed from the Kirkman that wrote the original. I guess his pen has dulled.
@kczaban_ Yeah, it's not a good resemblance. Chanum is too thick for someone more lithe like Gambit.
But, apparently, Channing has always liked the character, so he got to portray him.
@OwenGleiberman Hey, baldy, how about you go to Turkey and get yourself a hair transplant before talking about another person's appearance?
You are only missing the pedo 'stache to complete the look.
@SchwayJohn I've no dog in this race. Most of the anger against Mily is unjustified(Except the spiked drink comment), but I've no interest in Supergirl.
But, man... those movies you listed are trash. You are saying that his movie is better than trash. That's not the defense you think it is.
@StevenWillcox2@Neogears1312 It's still different enough. Zack surviving is already different enough. If I played only the Remake I won't experience the same story as if I played the original. Similar? Maybe. But not the same.
And that's the problem. Us fans of the original wanted the SAME story.
@BasheerSha77971@Uc_heyy02 Ned Stark still didn't have moral superiority, not by our modern standards. He looked down on Jamie for breaking his vows, despite it being the right thing to do, which even Brienne would agree. Only a stick in the mud like Ned would be annoyed.
@_ViralWire Florence is a bit... petite to be Sarah. Just like Emilia Clarke, between her baby face and how tall the guys around her were she felt so small.
Sarah should be more gruff and taller. Both Linda and Lena were great as Sarah.
@Variety@OwenGleiberman Bleh, there are good reviews too.
AT the end of the day, taste is subjective.
Sadly, Supergirl and the entire Super family has never been characters I cared too much about.
