The passing of Rexhep Qosja is a profound loss for Kosovo and the entire Albanian nation. We have lost one of our most distinguished academics...a wise mind and a courageous patriot.

In the most difficult times for Albanians in Kosovo, he stood firm and spoke openly against the Yugoslav regime, when many others were silenced. His voice was not just intellectual it was an act of resistance.

With remarkable foresight, he understood when the moment had come for Albanians to rise and fight for their freedom against Serbian oppression. His value cannot be measured or compared, he was truly one of a kind.

Today, we have not only lost a great man but a defining voice of an era. Rest in Peace NationalHero.
