@faisal_parla I remember a journalist claiming that the cipher was supposed to be on yellowish paper, and what Imran Khan waved at the jalsa was white, so according to them, the cipher story was not genuine. Now that it turns out the actual cipher was indeed on yellowish paper. Interesting!

@altfoxb iirc it goes way back into the 60s with PAF acquiring 2 RB-57Fs. PAF had to return them to US after the 1965 war.

Just dug up this gem from my archive... 32 years ago, PIA’s brand-new Airbus A310-300 (AP-BEU) was flying PK752 from Islamabad to Beijing looking absolutely pristine.
Just 9 months old, fresh cabin, that classic 90s widebody vibe. Fast forward to now... the same aircraft was retired in 2015 and the route itself has basically disappeared for PIA. Air China is now the main operator keeping the corridor alive.
Crazy how times change.
