@Elohim_Gadol @USHouseEquality @ElbowBelow@NateSilver538 Literally his words were “Whomever I pick, preferably it will be someone who was of color and/or a different gender". You’re literally lying in your spin.
@Onchuul_VGanaa @MerriamWebster It would depend on the writing situation. For formal and published works with strong style guides (like AP Style) it would be frowned on. In more casual writing (90% of the Internet), most people wouldn’t bat an eye at it.
I dunno. If I multiplied what I think government is by ten, we’d be at the stage of Republicans literally strangling detained immigrant kids to get off for their Only Fans while the Democrats stood back and said “at least it’s stimulating the economy”.
The federal government is a lot worse on the inside than it seems to people at home. Whatever you think about it, multiply that badness by at least 10.
I loved #Transformers as a kid, but have not at all kept up with the series’ many twists and changes in the decades since. When I saw #TransformersWFC on @netflix, though, I thought it would be fun to jump back in.
I figured out why #TransformersWFC seems so bad to me, compared to shows like SHE-RA and VOLTRON.
Those shows were allowed to take the source material and remix, recreate, and refresh. WFC, on the other hand, is like slavishly shackled to its source material.
Like, literally, there’s not one original idea in #TransformersWFC. We’ve seen all of this before. The plot beats are retreads of earlier tellings. The character designs look like the toys from the 1990s. Even the VO actors are mimicking the originals.
