@afilina I made the way from table layouts to floats to flexbox, and yeah I fully agree. There's never been a better time to learn HTML and CSS. I like writing code that makes semantic sense, and not having to constantly try and trick various browsers to display things how I want.
@ShawnMcCool I only played the demo, and it was good fun. The story and characters feel mostly forgettable, but I'm a fan of Metroidvanias, and the combat is decent too.
@weaverryan Got it working. To use Tailwind, apply it in your CSS using the @ apply directive and targeting the ::backdrop pseudo-element.
Also update your component and use "backdrop:bg-opacity-80" instead of "backdrop:opacity-80".

@weaverryan FYI I was able to apply the blur by targeting the ::backdrop pseudo element and styling it with "backdrop-filter: blur(3px)". The result is pretty much the same, but not sure how you would do this with Tailwind.
@weaverryan YES! I recently rebuilt a website, and wanted to replace Bootstrap with vanilla CSS. Got to use the <dialog> element for the first time, replacing Bootstrap's handy modals, and it was a lot less effort than I expected.
