@Pirat_Nation I thought this is common sense? Being that consoles all run on a few configs and PCs require multiple optimizations to cater for a wider range?
With how long game dev, and especially GTA, has been around, I'm surprised how this has to be announced or explained every time
@GazaFM_@DiscussingFilm People will always show up for movies that look appealing to them. There have been flops and successes every year, and there will continue to be, superhero or not
@CosmicXray@JReeves74883@JovanGThinks Not everything benefits from being made more complex. Especially if the original story itself is very simple, as most fairy tales are.
If they make it compelling it should be interesting, but I'm assuming this reaction from most is because this trend is getting tiresome
@ShibidibiWOAH@english_shamar@DiscussingFilm We watched the movie and didn't like it.
You don't need to be on a hate train to dislike the eternals.
I think the idea would have worked better as a series so each of the many characters could have episodes to themselves and have small teamups before they eventually all team up
@ATrueXWarrior @CentralScruty A game can sell well and also be hated on depending on how well it was marketed.
As a new Kojima game, with Norman reedus and a huge AAA premium look, it can sell lots of copies before word gets around that the game has problems.
COD does that every year. Cyberpunk 2077 did it 2
@OGG1993 If it's a good game, it will still be good whenever it comes to PC. There's lots of other games to play in the meantime, as there always have been.
After buying so many games on launch and then not beating them for months or years due to others coming out, I finally just stopped
@ChrisHenares@Gopats12Johann@thatstarwarsgrl@Naughty_Dog You'd probably have to do it for years, which I don't think fits the filming schedule of these types of projects. So it's either enhancements or you work with what you have
@DanticsOfficial@pcgamer That just means the dragon age game was struggling, which should never had happened to begin with under better management.
This information does not make the situation better nor does it show that they "cared" about dragon age franchise
@dutchied@RealHypnotic1 Seems to me that the new entity will pay to ubisoft royalties for the franchises licensed to them(the big 3). But obviously, tencent also gets paid dividends as 25% owners. That is common business sense and maybe that's why it's not written here?
@Pirat_Nation These announcements they are making feel like they are for investors and not the players. It seems to be them that they want to convince this is doing well
