@dlharrell @TheSlySamurai @mdradvies Incredible achievements to be sure, but a few of those were either made/conceptualised before American inventors patented their own version (telephone, transistor, lightbulb) or created bij immigrants who moved to the US. Not trying to downplay in any way mind you.

@theistinthought @cljack Even if I lived on the outskirts of the city it wouldn't take me longer than a 5 min bike ride. Its super manageable to plan a city that way if you have dedicated areas for shopping and don't just sprawl out without thought.
