Today, I presented the FY24 Executive Budget Address for the Forest Preserves of Cook County.

This $188.7 million budget marks a new financial era for the Forest Preserves, and we will continue to protect our natural spaces for all Cook County residents.

A new era has begun! The Forest Preserves of Cook County has started investing the increased revenue available thanks to the approval of the Clean Air, Clean Water & Wildlife Habitat Protection referendum on the ballot last fall.
