Week 42 board on PeekLaunch is open and completely empty.
Whoever launches first gets the top spot all to themselves. Free, no card.

Your code is not the reason your side project failed.
Nobody saw it. That's the reason.
I'm learning this the hard way with my own launch board right now.
Which was harder for you, building it or getting people to look at it?
@RoundtableSpace Get the first 25 makers onto our launch board this week. My co-founder and I built https://t.co/pxl4cCHYxe, and now the scary part is getting strangers to show up.
@0xPaulvibe Confession: our launch board went live 6 days ago and this week's board is still empty. My co-founder and I are learning that building was the easy part.
Expectation: launch day, 500 signups, my phone won't stop buzzing.
Reality: 1 signup. It was me, checking if the form works.
Be honest, who was your first user?
@ZypherHQ More building is great advice until you have 12 finished projects and zero users. Launching is the skill nobody practices, so my co-founder and I built a free place to do it.
Free software has a new problem. Nobody can find it.
Building got easy. Getting the first 100 people to try it is the hard part now, and my co-founder and I are working on exactly that.
Remember the team building free, open-source alternatives to Adobe apps like Photoshop?
Well, theyโre taking on Microsoft Word too.
WordCraft rebuilds the familiar Word workflow in Rust. Free, open source, and already available on GitHub, though still in alpha.
All software will become free. I love it.
@gocloudship CV to a live site in under a minute is wild. If you want a free launch seat this week as well, https://t.co/pxl4cCHYxe still has open spots.
@marclou That empty globe hits hard. Our Week 42 board on https://t.co/pxl4cCHYxe is still empty too. The first product to go live stays at the top until someone else ships.
The entire copyleft licensing regime was built for a "software is scarce and precious" world that no longer exists. But watch the old guard cling to these obsolete rites like a pre-reformation priest to a Latin Bible.
Most founders post "we launched" and wait.
Better move: talk to 10 makers who shipped that week and ask what blocked them.
That's my plan for PeekLaunch this week. Slow, a bit painful, but real.
Would you rather shout into an empty feed or learn from people who just launched?
