@Tezos co-founder w/ wife @breitwoman & Agitprop founder. Aligning ASI to not zap everyone is unsolved, that's bad. Tezos stuff, high context humor & more.
@TheStalwart Not everyone is pro inexpensive energy with minimal environmental impact, precisely because it's not always a good electoral strategy, and not everyone who's pro inexpensive energy with minimal environmental impact can correctly identify that, say, nuclear energy, delivers that.
@IKEAUK, @IKEA, my order has looked like this for a week. Hilariously, I still get text messages saying it's about to be delivered, even though it was a few days ago. Clearly, your ordering system is broken. Called customer support three times; the only fix they could offer was to issue a refund and have me buy from one of your competitors. They apparently can't even escalate the fact that the ordering system is broken. I've tried every avenue to contact you, including emailing your executive directly, but it seems to be no one's problem. I understand the need to streamline and automate customer support, but you need to keep some avenues open for escalation. Right now, you have none, so you can't know about your broken system, let alone fix it. I'm giving it a good 80% chance you'll reply to this asking me to contact support, proving my point.

@DanielJHannan The law in 1880 was left deliberately ambiguous so that those who do not wish to celebrate the bloodbath of 1789 can interpret the holiday as a celebration of the first Fête de la Fédération on July 14th, 1790 (which did commemorate the storming of the Bastille).
@tszzl@beffjezos It's mostly moronic downstream vibes from Thermodynamic Dissipation Theory for the Origin of Life, Statistical Physics of Self-Replication, and Causal Entropic Forces, which do contain some neat observations, but are repeatedly elevated into an entirely unsubstantiated teleology.
Interestingly, in litigation, under a retention order it's not clear if the written communications to the local AI would have to be retained as "documents" being created. It's less likely to request that voice chats with the AI be recorded. It's weird but US law around discovery and document retention fundamentally discriminates against the deaf.
True but in practice they will never grant this. The entire financial surveillance apparatus rests on the third party doctrine.
Local models, or models running in trusted enclaves will be the way.
conversations with ur ai should be privileged and subject to fourth and fifth amendment protections, legally they should be considered an extended mind
reading ai transcripts without consent is not discovery it is compelled testimony against the user
@libertez_baker@tezos@etherlink Current plan is to vertically integrate a solver underneath and plug it to a few aggregators. There's operational complexity around that.
The Tezos Art Vending Machine is back in action with its first artist takeover in a long spell featuring @nefetesudaca and there's only 115 pieces left!
A journey through this prodigious collectors career, get in there and VEND!

@libertez_baker Yes but I need it to do a bunch of stuff on large repos, sets of documents. I also need it to call APIs giving it access via a local gateway, etc.
