India needs @Starlink 🇮🇳
• 11,256 of India’s listed villages still lacked 4G coverage as of May 2026.
• India had 1.093 billion internet subscriptions in March 2026, but only 440.87 million were rural. Rural subscription density was 48.31 per 100 people, compared with 126.80 in urban India.
• BharatNet had laid over 850,000 route-km of fibre and made about 221,000 Gram Panchayats service-ready. However, its Points of Presence were reported operational at only 80,472 Gram Panchayats in June 2026.
• Only 4.26% of India’s internet subscriptions were wired connections in March 2026. Starlink could give underserved communities another route to high-speed broadband.
• Starlink has already built 20 gateway sites in India, according to SpaceX Vice President of Starlink Business Operations Lauren Dreyer, speaking at India Mobile Congress today.
• Starlink says it has developed India-specific security controls designed to keep Indian user data within India.
• Its satellite network could bring high-speed internet to remote villages, mountains and islands where extending fibre or mobile networks is difficult.
• Better connectivity could help rural schools access online learning, clinics offer remote consultations and small businesses reach more customers. Starlink already supports education and healthcare in remote communities internationally.
• Portable Starlink terminals have supported disaster response around the world. They could give Indian emergency teams backup connectivity when floods, earthquakes or storms damage ground networks.
• Direct to Cell could also help ordinary 4G phones connect beyond tower coverage, subject to Indian approvals and mobile operator partnerships.
• The government itself identifies difficult terrain, low commercial viability and infrastructure constraints as reasons for remaining coverage gaps. This is exactly where Starlink could help India reach more people.
• India should complete the remaining clearances and spectrum allocation so Starlink can begin commercial service.
• SpaceX’s Vice President of Starlink Business Operations, Lauren Dreyer, said that Starlink is ready to help achieve Prime Minister Modi’s vision of 100% connectivity across India. She highlighted its potential to connect remote classrooms, support telemedicine and restore connectivity after disasters, adding, “With Starlink, people can get connected within minutes, not years.”
India’s hardest-to-reach communities deserve reliable internet too.
Epstein operated for decades. The FBI knew. The DOJ knew. SDNY knew. The state of Florida knew. Powerful people knew.
This wasn't just one bad actor, this was systemic institutional failure. Multiple agencies, multiple administrations, multiple chances to stop him, and nobody did.
It wasn't incompetence, it was a choice to cover it all up.
The Epstein global trafficking network is bigger than we could have imagined. Over 3 million documents have been released to the public, and we still don't have answers.
Videos are missing. Audio recordings are missing. Logs are missing.
There are probably millions more documents we've never seen.
75% of Americans support releasing the rest of the Epstein files, no matter who it implicates from either party.
The number should be 100%. This isn't political. Co-conspirators need to go to jail no matter who they are.
We are so proud to have organized 100s of Statements for the record and more than 60 American veterans and #BattleBuddies who showed up to stand shoulder to shoulder with Afghans at last week's Senate Judiciary hearing.
Thank you @SenAlexPadilla for recognizing these patriots.
The most important point from the Senate Judiciary Hearing on Wednesday in Washington was this: The OIG witness said that CBP proved that they thoroughly vetted all Afghans.
Don't believe whatever bullshit @StephenM, Josh Hawley ,and John Cornyn are trying to sell you.
Did you know that the @statedept had a plan to wind down SIV thoughtfully?
Should we release the plan that Congress accepted back in 2024?
Please vote and share. If people think we should do it, we'll share it with press, our followers, and the world.
#AfghanEvac’s new statement outlines key concerns with the latest consultation on refugee admissions, including the exclusion of many eligible families.
We urge the press and Members of Congress to review the unanswered questions and seek clarity from the Administration.
🚨 IMPORTANT SIV UPDATE — PLEASE READ & SHARE 🚨
We’re coming up on a hard deadline that will impact thousands of Afghan allies still trying to reach safety.
The Afghan SIV program will stop accepting new applications on December 31, 2025, unless Congress steps in and extends the deadline. As of today, fewer than 7,800 SIVs remain. Once they’re gone, they’re gone—unless lawmakers authorize more.
As of November 12, 2025, Congress hasn’t passed anything to extend the deadline or increase visa numbers. That could change in 2026, but nothing is guaranteed.
Here’s what this means right now:
- If you’re preparing a new COM application: You must submit it by December 31, 2025.
- If you’re preparing a COM appeal: You still get your full 120 days from the date of your denial, even if that goes into 2026.
- If your pending appeal is denied after December 31: You won’t be able to file a new application.
- If you already have a pending COM application: It will keep moving after the deadline.
- If you have COM approval: You must continue your case at a U.S. Embassy outside Afghanistan. SIVs will be issued until the remaining visas run out.
This is a critical moment. If you know someone affected, please share this with them. Lives and futures depend on getting accurate information fast.
Thank you, @RepRaskin@SenAlexPadilla@RepJayapal@SenatorDurbin, for calling out the Trump admin which continues to circumvent the law with a sham consultation on refugee admissions. The nearly 130k already approved refugees facing violence and persecution deserve better. https://t.co/YvRh1Yx4wT
This #VeteransDay, we stand with our Afghan allies who are still trying to find safety for themselves and their families after years of unfulfilled promises from the US government.
IRAP's newest lawsuits seek to take them away from danger - you can let them know you stand with them and all refugees by signing our pledge for refugee rights:
