It's interesting that nations are beginning to represent themselves as ecosystems rather than people with long histories.

Britain’s next banknotes will feature wildlife instead of famous people. The EU, Philippines, Mexico, and Syria are doing the same now with their currency.

It's even spreading to passport design. Canada, Ireland, Australia, and Finland have recently redesigned passports around native animals and fauna.

Why? It's non-controversial. Who doesn't like animals?

@sonofavocado @Dbob_77 @ChristianHeiens Yeah lol, raised in Bloomfield living in Antrim. Quite a few similarities between the local dialects, lots of Ulster Scot influence on the western PA dialect. I don't find them to be too different culturally. Both are pretty cool places.

There is no public space without them. Is definitely more like 80/20, but it feels even greater because they're disproportionately younger.

Its growing rapidly, but its not apocalyptic
