पंजाब यूनिवर्सिटी में जलभराव और खुले तार: पीएचडी स्कॉलर की मौत के बाद भी प्रशासन बेखबर, AAP चुप, दिपके मौन!

चंडीगढ़:पंजाब यूनिवर्सिटी (PU) कैंपस में मानसून की बारिश के साथ ही व्यवस्थाओं की पोल खुल गई है। कैंपस में भारी जलभराव और जर्जर इलेक्ट्रिकल इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर के कारण एक बड़ा हादसा सामने आया है।

जानकारी के अनुसार, गत 28 जुलाई को कैंपस के जलभराव वाले हिस्से से गुजरते वक्त पीएचडी स्कॉलर ज्योति की कथित तौर पर करंट लगने से दर्दनाक मौत हो गई। इस दुखद घटना के बाद पूरे यूनिवर्सिटी परिसर में शोक और आक्रोश का माहौल है।

छात्रा की मौत के बाद भी कैंपस में सुरक्षा को लेकर गंभीर लापरवाही देखी जा रही है। जगह-जगह खुले पड़े बिजली के तार, नंगे जॉइंट्स और ठप पड़ी ड्रेनेज व्यवस्था को लेकर छात्र लगातार शिकायतें कर रहे हैं।

कैंपस की इलेक्ट्रिकल सेफ्टी और जल निकासी व्यवस्था में सुधार के लिए अब तक कोई ठोस कदम नहीं उठाए गए हैं। छात्रों और अभिभावकों का कहना है कि यूनिवर्सिटी प्रशासन किसी और बड़े हादसे का इंतजार कर रहा है, क्योंकि जमीनी स्तर पर सुरक्षा के नाम पर कोई पर्याप्त कार्रवाई देखने को नहीं मिल रही है। ना ही आम आदमी पार्टी और CJP का कोई व्यक्ति इसको लेकर कैंपस में गया है।
