A while ago few police and law enforcement personal at Dhal check post near Palandri have been taken hostage by armed hooligans of proscribed Joint Action Committee.

Eyewitnesses have informed that due to presence of nearby civilian population and fear of collateral damage the LEAs abstained from firing back.

The event, armed hooligans action and the heinous act of kidnapping of government officials confirm the proscribed nature of the so called Joint Action Committee and the directions it is receiving and acting upon.

It confirms last night incident of Khai Gala where Umer Nazir Kashmiri opened fire on police.

At First it was thought that JAAC be brought into electoral process but this hooliganism proved tgey deserved to be in jail at best.

FIR must be registered against all JAAC leadership and tgey should be given capital Punishment.

Pakistan’s Interior Minister carries FM Asim Munir’s message to the Iranian Supreme Leader

Islamabad, IRNA - An informed source told IRNA that Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsen Naqvi, who is leaving for Iran today, is carrying an important message from Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the Pakistani Army Chief to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei.

According to an IRNA correspondent on Saturday, this informed source stated that Naqvi had intensive consultations with government officials, including Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, before leaving for Tehran.

This source stated that Mr. Naqvi is carrying a message from Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir to the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei.

This informed source added: Shehbaz Sharif has also given special instructions to Mohsen Naqvi regarding the Iran-US talks.

Pakistan, in collaboration with China, continues its strong diplomatic efforts to designate the Indian-backed BLA as a global terrorist organization under UNSC Resolution 1267.

A formal proposal was submitted in February 2026, following earlier joint requests in 2025. The BLA has been involved in multiple deadly attacks in Pakistan, including the Jafar Express and Khuzdar incidents. It is already designated as a foreign terrorist organization by the US (August 2025), with sanctions imposed by the UK, Australia, and others.

While the UN process involves technical holds and further consultations, experts view this as a significant diplomatic achievement that has placed the BLA firmly on the global counter-terrorism agenda.

JAAC has just crossed the red line. It has practically committed an act that, both internationally and nationally, would designate an organization as a terrorist organization.

They kidnapped and held official security personnel hostage near Pahlendri at the Dhal check post. This is an act of terrorism, comparable to hijacking a plane, attacking a school, or hijacking a train.

There is no going back from here now. Cases should be filed against the leadership. This must be brought to an end.

JAAC should be treated in the exact same manner that China treats terrorist organizations, that Russia treats terrorist organizations, or that the United States treats terrorists.

There is no other option left now.
