@philatrail It isn't a DFTO issue either. The rumour is they aren't against the concept (same for the individual operators). The issue is the Treasury for sign off. Unfortunately, bean counters apportion a cost when there is little to no cost compared to the benefits of such a scheme.

@gala1871 @ShaunLintern @wesstreeting Defined benefit, but unlike most db pensions, it doesn't have an actual true pot. It's more an IOU from the state, which has been diminished depending on when you joined the NHS. Anyone joining post 2015 has been screwed as it's linked to state pension age.

@lateturn As a guard rep, I feel your pain. Saying that, I agree that if you have good planners willing to work with you, it helps a great deal. This is the side no one sees. Making sure diagrams are safe, legal, and non repetitive if possible.

@ThatAlexWoman @TfL Why does the colour of the kids matter?. As for TFL staff, they aren't paid enough to be spat at, verbally/physically abused, etc. Plus, their job is to operate the barriers, not stop fare dodgers. BTP doesn't care about fare evasion, so why should staff.
