I recently came across the Carrot weather app, and love it. Believe it or not, one of my favorite things is the ads!

You can pay to remove them, but they aren’t even real 😂

One day, we were running Meta ads to get more patients and got a suspiciously high CTR, at like 7%.

Turns out we were getting traffic from games on their infamous partner sites (audience network)… and the ads had a fake ‘x’ button leading users to click the link thinking they were closing the ad 😂

The only thing more ridiculous would be buying ads in the fishing game apps for cats

Even with all the tracking these days, we still don’t know which half of the ad budget is wasted 😂
