The Church has ended the ban & apologised. It was false doctrine, contradicts the Bible & is no longer taught.

@theactuallew @TheGermanicist The priesthood ban was not instituted by Jesus Christ nor Joseph Smith. It was brought in by the prophet Brigham Young due to his racism, for which the Church has apologised & rescinded the ban. Prophets are great men but they are not perfect & Brigham was a product of his time.
