Excited to share the main project of my PhD, where we discovered early changes in brain organoids derived from ALS/FTD patients and presymptomatic family members carrying the most common ALS/FTD mutation. It was great to work on this project with so many wonderful people!
Last week I had the chance to present my PhD project at the Gordon Research Seminar ALS 2023. It was a pleasure to meet other scientists dedicated to unravel parts of this disease. Serious discussions combined with hikes in the beautiful surroundings of the Swiss Alps. #ALSGRC
On the 8th of June @Rianne_deJongh and @AstridvdGeest will climb the Mont Ventoux in France during the Tour du ALS. A yearly event to raise funds for ALS research. Support and donate via https://t.co/3TvXG5TyAi!🧡 #ALSresearch @TRICALS_cureALS #TourduALS@ALSnederland
Vrije inloop ☕https://t.co/LXMBDz2EXc
Very excited to share our new paper out @NatureComms! We identify the Wnt pathway antagonist SFRP1 as a potential signal that promotes quiescence in NSCs from the human SVZ and show that its inhibition stimulates stem cell activation. https://t.co/0VFfuZhPt0 1/2
What surprises you and what are you curious about? Together with other researchers I'm gathering questions from the public to form an Utrecht Research Agenda.
Come meet me this Saturday to ask your question at the Neude library: https://t.co/I8CoI50N4M
Inspired by the diverse talks on ALS research at #ENCALS 2021 and congratulations to Tijana Ljubikj, whom I'm lucky to work closely with, on winning a poster award! 🎉
Very happy with the opportunity to talk about my PhD project on modelling ALS with brain organoids during the cell and animal models session at #ENCALS 2021
@AhleniusHenrik We’re happy you like it! Thanks again for your very interesting talk and honest story about your career so far! Also on behalf of the other organisers, Marloes & Laurens
Happy #WomenInScience Day! 👩🔬👩🚀 Let’s smash stereotypes, defy gender bias and defeat discrimination that holds women and girls back in Science, Tech, Engineering and Math.
Congrats @AnaMarinNavarr1 on your new publication!
p53 controls genomic stability and temporal differentiation of human neural stem cells and affects neural organization in human brain #organoids. https://t.co/oADM1YfCKS
The project I contributed to during my internship in the group of Margareta Wilhelm at Karolinska Institutet is now published! Have a look if you would like to know more about p53 in the developing human brain. #organoids@AnaMarinNavarr1 & Robin Pronk https://t.co/0IZM1eR45u
