Got bit by the reprocessing bug (nothing else to do with all the wildfires obscuring the sky). Redid my Crescent and I am much happier with this version. #astrophotography#astronomy#space#ngc6888
#Jupiter in blue light on Sep 23rd. https://t.co/kkwIQkqr6D Excellent seeing. The GRS is just appearing at bottom left, while Oval BA is visible toward lower right. C14HD with Saturn M-SQR camera.
A complete rotation movie of Jupiter near opposition in 2022. The file quality is greatly compressed from the original for online viewing. A shame as the full quality file looks very impressive, even on a large display. All images with C14HD and Uranus/Saturn cameras.
My personal best Pleiades and Venus ever!

Amazingly taken on a Samsung S21 10x zoom night setting with a little cleaning up with contrast and brightness.
M42 The Orion Nebula captured from my patio two weeks ago 😊🔭
This was shot on the EdgeHD 8 with Hyperstar at f/2 using the L-Pro filter and a QHY294C camera.
It’s a HDR composition of 3, 10 and 30 sec subs for a total integration time of just 40 minutes!

Just in time for Valentine's Day -- it's the Rosette Nebula! 🧵
I combined my best 16 hours of 5-minute exposures to bring out the interstellar gases (ionized hydrogen and oxygen) in this beautiful structure. #astrophotography#asiweek

Taurus widefield with Mars
I traveled 200 km to plan 2 nights of capturing this object and I came across this very bright "star", but the downside turned out to be an opportunity: Mars
