The Ruling of the Rawafidh:

Every deviant innovation found among the sects of the Muslims, we find such a deviant innovation amongst the Rawafidh or worse than it.

Some of our a'immah have declared them to be the most evil of all deviant groups, such as Abu Ubayd Al-Qasim ibn Sallaam (1). Indeed, they are worse in their misguidance than the Khawarij, the Qadariyyah, the Murji'ah, the Jahmiyyah, and the Mu'tazilah.

With the misguidance of the Khawarij, the scholars of Islam are in agreement that the misguidance of the Rawafidh in the deen is worse, and this is because none of the scholars differ in the kufr of the Rafidhah (2) [while there is ikhtilaf on the kufr of the Khawarij]. Every innovation found in the Khawarij, we find in the Rawafidh greater and more severe.

The Khawarij slander some of the Companions such as Uthman and Ali (3).
The Rawafidh slander those who are greater than both, like Abu Bakr and Umar (4).

The Khawarij do not accuse the wives of the Prophet ﷺ, the Mothers of the Believers, of zina, but the Rawafidh did.

While the Khawarij fight and kill Muslims but leave the people of shirk (5), indeed the Rafidah support the people of kufr against the Muslims.

While the Khawarij do takfir over what they consider sin and wrongdoing, when it is not the case, the Rafidah do takfir over the religion and the fundamentals of the deen, such as their takfir of the one who denies the infallibility of the Imams (6), and over favoring Abu Bakr and Umar in Khilafah.

The Khawarij see Jihad as active and valid at all times, but they do not see it as active behind the unjust ruler (7). Meanwhile, the Rafidhah do not see Jihad as being established; rather, they view it as being from the imagined unseen knowledge.

The Rafidhah have been described as kuffar by a number of the salaf, such as al-Sha'bi (8), Talhah ibn Musarrif (9), and many others (10). It's mentioned that Abdullah ibn Al-Husayn ibn Al-Hasan ibn Ali ibn Abu Talib did not testify of shirk from any of the people of Qiblah, except the Rafidhah. This is also the position of the four Imams (Malik, Abu Hanifah, Shafi'i, and Ahmad).

The salaf did not see salaat behind a Rafidhi as valid, as has been narrated from both Sufyans (11). Al-Bukhari did not distinguish between prayer behind a Rafidhi and prayer behind a Jew or Christian (12), and this is because the gathering of reasons for kufr in any group ascribing itself to Islam has not occurred to the extent that it has except with the Rafidah!
