Azuki gacha system is creating diamond hands holders.

@Azuki succesfully delivered a feeling of dedication and involvement in a soft-staking process. All thanks to the Gacha Grab game created within the Animecoin ecosystem.

Usually, when you soft-stake your assets you are not aware of the rewards you may receive later for them.
You don't interact with a website to do so, you just hold the asset, passively.

Azuki gives real ownership of said points to the token, not to the address that holds it.
This allows transfers to vaults without losing the accumulated gachas or revaluation of common assets that have lucky higher tier gachas linked to them.
You don't just own your token. Your token owns its gacha points.
Whoever owns the Azuki, owns its gachas.

Gachas imply you have to interact with the Anime website, making you feel that you are actively generating the rewards.

This creates a feeling of involvement in the ecosystem and brand, and of control over the asset.
Simultaneously, because you invest a tiny part of your time on this, you are less prone to sell the assets.

You actually feel you participate on the process and that you are only rewarded for doing so.

You feel you dedicated yourself to that staking and you don't want to give away the gachas YOU won by selling the Azukis.

This is also the reason why core community members and creators are always the most supportive.
The more you dedicate youself to a project, the less prone you are to let it go.

Congrats to @Azuki on the first Anime release.

Loved it overall.

The episode was more of a long teaser for what's coming than an actual episode, but hands down the top web3 anime product bar none.

The style and art were great.

Azuki has always had the best production quality in whatever they launch.

Pros

- Japanese as the language was a big plus, felt like a full-on Japanese anime experience
- Loved to see little Azuki lore drops scattered around
- Web3 integration was very cool
- Art was great and the overall mood good
- Music fire

Cons

- Episode short. It was the format, but I wanted a bit longer. Felt more like a longer trailer. Seems to be the main complaint I hear.

- I personally would have liked the short story focus almost entirely on the girl: her day arc with her motivations and the lead-up to her finding the red bean. Would have been more impactful when she did. But given the title "the waiting man' and this was a sample of what's coming, ok I get it.

Conclusion:

I like what I saw here in the episode and it's an exciting moment for web3. I would be disappointed, in terms of 'story quality', if the episode was just that: an episode. But it's more of an intro, so I think you'll need to consider the anthology of all 10 episodes to make a judgment re the actual story here.

The anime release paired with the new azuki staking point system (which heavily rewards rarity) giving you gacha machine spins is a great way to build up to a potential token drop (or whatever is revealed in those gacha balls you win)

It feels Azuki is finding their stride and confidence again.

Been a long while, but Azuki is finally going where the community wants the brand to go now.

A lot of expectations on how value will be delivered, how $anime will work, but the framework is starting to be revealed and the whole process leading there is fun.

Sometimes the journey to the destination is just as important, and maybe MORE important, than the destination.

And Azuki has always been about delivering an experience.

I'd say they are living up to that now, finally.
