Legal experts say Alberta’s Bill 11 violates the Canada Health Act in THREE ways — here’s the breakdown every Canadian needs to hear. I’ve added letters that can be sent to governments as well-link in bio (on TikTok) #bill#alberta#healthcare#canada#health
‼️HEY CANADA‼️
Just a friendly reminder that everything Canadian that we stand for, the CONservatives voted against! EVERY. SINGLE. THING.
So if you think voting CON this year is going to improve your lives, HISTORY says otherwise! @PierrePoilievre lies! #cdnpoli#cdnpolitics
@Sonsof1977@nenshi Every other developed nation in the world, aside from the US, has public healthcare. The US system costs literally double the amount with worse outcomes. Higher infant mortality. Shorter life expectancy. It's a disaster. I definitely do not want to emulate the US.
@ABDanielleSmith By shirking all responsibility for social services, healthcare, education and housing, & not paying the city of Edmonton the $60 MIL in property taxes they owe, they've been able to hoard our tax dollars. This is NOT an example of responsible government. ALBERTANS ARE IN CRISIS!
They need to scrap Bill 20 altogether. This is the ultimate government overreach. We have elections for a reason. The provincial government has NO right to interfere in municipal politics. Another example of UCP authoritarian aspirations. https://t.co/wqXlJjn2yo
Rachel Notley, Leader of the Alberta NDP Official Opposition, issued the following statement in response to Bill 18: Provincial Priorities Act:
“This new legislation is going to wrap municipalities, post-secondary institutions and health authorities in a giant spool of red tape.
“Danielle Smith's government has neglected the municipalities that deliver critical services and build needed housing and infrastructure. For her to be playing petulant partisan games is not securing Albertans their share of federal dollars.
“Under her watch, Albertans with diabetes have been told they won’t be able to access critical, expensive diabetes medication. Alberta women won’t be able to access contraception. And now, Danielle Smith wants to continue an endless tirade that will result in more red tape for municipalities on the front lines of building critical housing and infrastructure our communities need.
“This Bill will make things more expensive for Albertans who need these critical infrastructure investments, and will leave funds on the table in Ottawa instead of getting Albertans what they deserve.
“Albertans haven’t seen any benefit in their health care, in our school systems, or in their household budget at the end of the day as a result of Smith’s squabbles with the federal government. This Bill will be no different. Danielle Smith’s record of achieving nothing speaks for itself.”
Don, I’m sensing that vast majority of Albertans don’t insist on closing private schools. Instead, Albertans don’t want to see any government funding of private schools.

No.
How about send your kids to Alberta public schools, which until very recently were among the top 5 education systems in the entire world, or make your choice, send them to a private school and pay the full freight?
Sounds fair to me.

How rich of Poilievre to claim Trudeau is "not worth the cost" when he billed taxpayers over $200k for photo ops of himself outside an election year.
$200k!
What a complete and total waste of taxpayer funds.
#PoilievreNotWorthTheCost
.@AbDanielleSmith doesn’t want to talk about this until after the election, but UCP made a promise to Australian billionaire and now, quietly, gave a green light to start the dig.
Alberta mountains are for sale.
