@ksorbs But instead of standing up defiantly, still flying and waving the flag, the body-checked player threw it on the ground and chased after the tackler in anger.
@KodiakRon101@rootcausesleuth Post the rest of the passage... it's not talking about initial salvation, because it teaches/child-trains us (those already in the faith) to say no to ungodliness and worldly passions. (Tit 2:12)
The Scriptures are profitable for the Man of God to mature unto good works.
@KodiakRon101@rootcausesleuth In this context of Greeks (aka Gentiles) approaching him (see Jhn 12:20ff), when He says "I ... will draw all unto me," He means from God's chosen (Israel) *AND* from the Gentiles who had been cast off since Babel. This does not--and cannot--mean He will draw every single man.
@LizzyHock1963@rootcausesleuth Who are the 0.00001% that are not sinners?
Since the creation of the world, God's existence is knowable, so that those who deny Him are without excuse.
That an atheist can "imitate" goodness toward her children does not cover over her suppression of the truth in unrighteousness.
@resisfertile Could you provide a link to the article? My firm provides similar services (local to the jurisdictions we are licensed in, rather than nationally like Heritage) and I'd like to share this with my colleagues. Glad you're shining a spotlight on this issue.
Can't remember if I posted this here, but for many families, knowing how to deal with run amok gov't agencies is a must in our day.
Since we have had a number of run ins, and helped a number of families over the years, this is a post in conjunction with our friends @heritagedefense about things your family should do to protect you and your children.
@IndianaBrunner Praise God for His grace and leading you (and me) to repentance. I pray you'll continue to study the Scriptures to show yourself approved, a worker who need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the truth. And search the Scriptures as the Bereans did, to see if what is said is true.
@LizzyHock1963@rootcausesleuth Living by conscience does not mean they are without sin; until they repent of unbelief (Jhn. 16:9), atheists are in an omnipresent state of sin. They can behave and operate according to certain standards/their conscience (i.e., a law to themselves), but still sinning against God.
@rootcausesleuth@5SolasMissy Agree completely.
What I am studying more lately is how one reproves and corrects, using scripture, without immediately being dismissed as "sowing dissent" or otherwise operating out of the flesh. I'm not a huge fan of appealing to popular opinion, as if that is decisive.
@BiblicalBeauty "A man’s heart plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps."
Keep raising him right and he's likely already met this future wife through homeschool/church circles
LOL you know it's a Catholic high school because they assign Exodus (the Law) to freshmen but never assign Romans or Galatians for the entire four years.

"They gain an in-depth knowledge of Western civilization from Athens, Rome, and Jerusalem through England and the founding of our own country."
I just introduced the Red Meat Inspection Exemption Act with @chelliepingree to allow small farmers to slaughter and process their own livestock for direct-to-consumer sales without federal interference.
This bill keeps Trump’s promise by reducing regulations on producers.
