Congratulations to @DebHaalandNM for winning last night's primary to be New Mexico's next governor. If elected, she'll continue to make history as the first Native American woman to serve as a governor anywhere in America. Onward!
Lela Moser just made history as the first Black valedictorian in Scottsboro High School’s 113 year history. 🎓
With a 4.45 GPA, she graduated at the top of the Class of 2026, delivered the valedictory address, and earned the prestigious Balfour Award — the school’s highest non-academic honor for a senior. A seven-time Alabama state track & field champion, she helped her 4x400m relay team set a new state record of 3:59.08 while breaking multiple school records along the way. She was named one of Alabama’s 52 Bryant-Jordan Scholar-Athletes, she also received the Auburn Football Letterman Club Scholarship and was accepted into Auburn University’s Samuel L. Ginn College of Engineering as a Ginn Scholar with a full-ride scholarship covering tuition, fees, room and board for up to 5 years.
She served as President of the National Honor Society and Interact Club, VP of Student Government and Beta Club, member of Junior Civitan, was crowned Prom Queen, and earned 29+ academic cords.
Proud to see this level of excellence break new ground. Congratulations, Lela, what a legacy! 👏🏾
After suffering a devastating spinal injury that left him paralyzed from the chest down, Jaiden Picot walked across the Virginia Union University stage using a robotic exoskeleton to earn his Executive MBA. POWERFUL resilience in the face of adversity! Now he’s determined to help Brothers and Sisters with disabilities find accessible housing and opportunity. 👏🏿
Meet Valerie Thomas, the Black NASA physicist from Baltimore behind the technology that made 3D movies possible.
Valerie Thomas joined NASA in the 1960s and invented the Illusion Transmitter, a system that creates real 3D images using mirrors.
Throughout her NASA career, she worked on satellite image processing and helped develop systems to analyze Landsat satellite data.
Today, Valerie Thomas is retired from NASA and is recognized for her contributions to science and technology, inspiring women and young Black scientists to pursue STEM careers.
My neighbor spent about $80k on his son’s college finance degree.
His son graduated, filled out 105 applications, and couldn’t land a finance job.
Right now, he’s managing a Jimmy John’s while he “waits for a break.”
Then my neighbor said, “I’m going to introduce him to some of my friends so he can get an entry-level role.”
And it hit me.
If the outcome is still who you know, not what you studied…
what exactly did the $80k buy?
BREAKING🚨: For the first time since 1863, Ramadan, Lent, and Lunar New Year are all taking place at the same time 🤯
An exceptional event that will only happen again in 2189.
Good morning and Happy Tuesday to everyone who admires and respects Rep. Jasmine Crockett, and knows she's a billion times smarter than trump, with more spine than the entire MAGA party combined.
Give 'em hell, Ms. Crockett!🔥🔥

Wanda Cooper-Jones turned pain into purpose after her son Ahmaud Arbery was murdered. Through advocacy, community runs, and scholarships, she honors his legacy. Justice wasn’t easy, it came because people stood with her. We’re still standing with you. 🙏🏿 https://t.co/PbN2aPt9zK
While Donald Trump spent the day at Mar-a-Lago at his resort, President Obama was serving a Thanksgiving meal to a veterans care home.
This is what real leadership looks like 🇺🇸 🇺🇸🇺🇸
When the Obama Presidential Center opens next year, it will be a hub for change — a place for people from all over the world to come together, get inspired, and take what they learn back to their own communities. https://t.co/gW6UCYBCAJ
Trump & Hegseth can rant all they want about turning the military against the American people.
But nothing changes this: service members swear an oath to the Constitution—not to politicians.
That’s the true warrior ethos. Every word from Milley here. 👇
We've been retained by the family of Demartravion "Trey" Reed — the 21-year-old Delta State University student whose body was found hanging from a tree.
Trey was a young man full of promise and warmth, deeply loved and respected by all who knew him. His family and the campus community deserve a full, independent investigation to uncover the truth about what happened.
We cannot accept vague conclusions when so many questions remain. I stand with this family, and I will lead a team of civil rights leaders and organizations in pursuing transparency and answers for Trey’s family.
