After that, the adjustment happens and you usually get a big increase. Ours doubled on this adjustment because the prior owner had lived there for 25 years. Since then, baby steps.

@BoomerDivvies Absolutely, first, its a cool story and who doesnt love a cool story. Second, why not, you get a couple bucks in your pocket for doing very little work. Publix did this in a house down the street from us for a commercial, it was a zoo for a bit, but things eventually calmed down

@dividendology Could be part of his estate plan. He’s stated that his estate plan is that his wealth goes to charity. If he dies, the money could be used to buy back his shares (thus funding the charities) and also cushion/take advantage of any selling due to the news of his death
