@johnpauldickson@garetrobinson@ryanburge In Australia it seems to be a subclassification of churchgoers where in America we see it as the term for denomination?
@GarrittyOf@EsquivelSi54573@PhysInHistory This already happens, every collaborator has likely published papers on things they found while designing the detectors or doing the data analysis. Papers from the full collaborations are the culmination of all of the authors (and many more collaborators) work
@forloopcodes Deep mind don't make LLMs and are focused on more targeted models for mathematical applications such as protein folding, this and their navier stokes stuff
@zaklito@PotatoMcWhiskey Companies can make profit while still paying people properly! If a product is popular which drives people to the store to buy it, the salesperson does not have to do much to sell it. Arguably most of the value would be produced by the decision to stock the product.
@TheBackPocketAU@fromthe_topdeck We can compare his impact on games. But maybe not his raw kicking skill. His game is full of little wins, not the game breaking kicks that we see from the 3 you've mentioned. Overall impact I think he has really let Geelong click these last 2 years with his ever present running.
@jimmymclovin23@aussiehic@RalphyHeraldSun History remembers the winners and I think people are blinded by how dominant flag teams are when they breeze through prelims (Geelong 2022 etc) and forget that prelim finals do have losers, and that in longer time scales dominance at the prelim level is hard to achieve.
@aussiehic@RalphyHeraldSun The conversion rate you would expect is 1/4 prelims begets a flag, (assuming equal likelihood of a win in both prelim and grand final) which yields 3.5 flags from 14 prelims. Feeling have won 4 flags from those 14 prelims in question
@LilahRPGtt@Pom_Bazooka Only on new builds is a very good incentive to have for tax breaks! If people want to use housing as a way to get tax discounts it encourages new developments which in turn lowers housing prices!
@Trats1999@AflGlicko The model accounts for injuries and teamsheets each week, I believe the problem is that multiple key position injuries have compounding effects that are very hard to account for.
@evanthetoon@rieszspieces@SinghJyotirmai Yeah very fair my first reply was too harsh. For me at least I need to be able to distinguish the difference between a matrix/vector/operator which gets a dagger and a scalar which gets a star. But in the maths world I guess this would not need this difference that often
