@karpathy @AIatMeta @lmsysorg It’s interesting that the context window hasn’t expanded as much as other current LLMs, but with approaches like LM Infinite retroactively expanding context windows up to 200M for seemingly no downside, maybe expanding them at training time is just wasting compute now?
