@kvnvgs Not wrong because I looked - could have missed it. Check out Terminal 3 and the walk from the aircraft in International Terminal (for Qantas) to passport control. Post a photo of your poster from T3.
In Los Angeles airport - 8 World Cup games scheduled for LA including two of USA’s group matches. Approx 2 weeks to go to their opener vs Paraguay. This is the LA World Cup logo. Nowhere to be seen. Not a single bit of info - posters, promo stuff etc - in the airport.
@munnersp Hi PM, Fair play - accepted- just reporting what I saw - or didn’t see to be more precise. Arrived at the international terminal - walked to passport control and then walked to Terminal 3. Genuinely, I was looking and saw nothing there was a display promoting the 2028 Olympics.
@AlexiLalas In the general area tho’ Lexi - say, walking from the plane to passport check - plenty of wall space for “Welcome” signage. Likewise in the baggage reclaim area - all airlines. Airline neutral areas I would have thought.
@AlexiLalas Just arrived in Los Angeles airport - 8 World Cup games scheduled here including two of USA’s group matches. Approx 2 weeks to go to their opener vs Paraguay. I have not seen a single bit of info - posters, promo stuff etc in the airport. Very surprised.
@AlexiLalas Now in Terminal 3 for a flight on Delta. We arrived at International (from Australia) - I’d have expected plenty of “stuff” e.g. ready to welcome visiting World Cup fans
@henrywinter Here’s a thought Henry. Alf baffled us too - just one example: “No Jimmy Greaves?! (Tho’ in the squad it’s true). Oh my Lord - we’re toast,” kind of thing. Just maybe?? Then again Alf did sub Bobby in Leon (1970) and look how that worked out.
Some decent stories in here from fans. Worth a read and Written by vale fan @Aussie_DaveP !
