Impassioned plea from my friend @SteveYates. The fact that CCP Party State have not just tolerated by but also enabled the export of these life and community destroying poisons tells a lot about the true nature of China under the CCP. This is chemical warfare
One Nation's gas policy ensures Australians will finally get a fair share of our own world-class oil and gas resources. We will secure domestic supplies for vital industries, pay down our $1 trillion national debt and put more money back in your pocket.

Today marks 37 years since the Tiananmen Square massacre. Its ripple effects continue.
It was a lightning rod for Jimmy Lai: the moment when his career shifted from fashion to journalism and defending democracy.
In 1989, Jimmy Lai helped fund a rescue network that carried many protesters and dissidents to safety. One of them was Arthur Liu, a student leader on Beijing's "most wanted" list. Liu fled to Hong Kong and eventually made it to America, where he built a new life. This year, his daughter Alysa won Olympic gold for Team USA.
Jimmy Lai gave others their freedom. Today, he has spent nearly 6 years in prison for defending Hong Kong's freedom.

Starmer on the murder of young Henry Nowak. Rather than addressing the reasons Nowak was roughly arrested and cuffed, while he was dying of stab wounds, something the police inexplicably ignored in their zeal to arrest, without evidence, ‘a racist’, Starmer would rather moan about @elonmusk. He should be thanking Musk for his concern
Activists have been stopped and taken away on Thursday by Hong Kong police in Causeway Bay, defying a heavy police deployment at and around the former site of Hong Kong’s commemorative Tiananmen crackdown vigils.
A young man in a black T-shirt was intercepted by police after he put on a blindfold and began using a red pen to write on his arm outside the Sogo department store at around 7.15pm.
Despite being surrounded by police, he continued the act until he was ordered to stop. Moments later, he was taken into a police vehicle. Before he got into the van, he pulled out a small red book that appeared to be China’s constitution.
At around 7pm, a man was surrounded by police officers on Paterson Street after being spotted holding a candle at around 7pm.

Thinking of Jimmy Lai on June 4 at Capitol Hill. It was my honor to stand with his daughter, Claire Lai, today. As a survivor of the Tiananmen Massacre, I will always be grateful to Jimmy and the courageous people of Hong Kong for keeping alive the memory and spirit of the 1989 pro-democracy movement. Even as Jimmy endures prison, his courage continues to inspire all who fight for freedom.
Hong Kong saw a subdued Tiananmen anniversary as police detained several trying to commemorate the 1989 crackdown. Public gatherings were held in Taipei and Sydney https://t.co/lSupyH4XsP
🎬 For decades, film rolls containing more than 2,000 photos documenting the 1989 Tiananmen Square democracy movement had been shut inside a metal box, never known to the world.
These photos, taken by a Chinese state media photographer and having survived the ensuing political purge campaigns after the massacre, eventually made their way to the United States, and were recently entrusted to The Epoch Times.
Now, The Epoch Times is making the photos public for the first time. ⬇️
On this day 37 years ago, brave Chinese students peacefully protested for freedom and democracy in Tiananmen Square. The Chinese Communist Party answered with tanks and violence, killing hundreds and wounding countless others.
The CCP may censor history, but it cannot erase the truth.
We remember the victims of the Tiananmen Square Massacre and stand with freedom-loving people everywhere who continue to resist tyranny and fight for liberty.
On June 4, the world marks 37 years since the Chinese Communist Party ordered its troops to attack thousands of peaceful demonstrators in and around Tiananmen Square. Those who sacrificed to uphold their unalienable rights of free expression and peaceful assembly will be vindicated someday.

Today Melody posted photos of her 19-year-old self being detained by police in Victoria Park on #June4 2024 for holding a miniature Goddess of Democracy. After that, she left #HongKong "because I couldn’t stop myself from doing what I believed was right." https://t.co/zFNvF0qReE
