@ClearCatatonic@wolffytheking@XBOXSupport It seems to be more persistence and luck. You just gotta keep trying and trying until you get the one employee who puts in the effort. Every success I've seen involved months of trying.
@MB_Trening@Lead__Poisoned@The_Epic_Mike Looks like youre arguing with 3rd world ragebait bot accounts. Thanks for revealing a few more accounts for me to block π
@XBOXSupport@JoshuaKhane Yo, the same thing happened to me and my about 20 year old account has been completely gone for despite acknowledgements I am the real owner. Any chance people like me will get our accounts back or do I gotta be a streamer for that to happen?
@JezCorden Im hoping, HOPING that this blowing up and the Brazil case will make it easier for people like me who got their accounts devastated like this. I've seen a lot of posts about 10, 15, and 20 years old accounts just getting screwed and ignored.
@JoshuaKhane Btw MS is bullshitting when they say it's unrecoverable. There are a few cases in reddit where people got it successfully after months of trying. One example: https://t.co/pG4oj3dVc6
@memesbaba69 @Yahiamice It's kinda wild seeing how many specific variations are of the exact same hack popping up now. On the plus side more and more folks are getting aware of it.
@DankPlank3@Yahiamice Yeah, pretty much every major tech company is useless for this kind of thing. Meanwhile the hackers can just ban evade no problem. In ny own experience they would send disputes of their own to clog up discord support on the account.
@Easelm@AyakaMods Not even just emails, but links from your online friends. A very effective tactic these hacker groups are using now is using hacked accounts as a skin suit to trick friends into getting the virus. I had a friend get hacked and tried to get me to click some fake DOTA tourney.
@SayuriArtsy@TeamYouTube Sounds like the same hacker group that got me last year got you too. They took my discord and hotmail account, and both companies were just as useless despite acknowledging I was hacked and the original owner. There seriously needs to be better account recovery methods.
