But I try to get a majority of my calories from meat. The intermittent fasting is also so nice, as "digesting" isn't my bodies fave activity ๐๐. Getting back into weight lifting is actually in my list of goals for this year! Thanks for the update, it's very motivating ๐
@Caerage @SBakerMD I'm so pumped to hear about your success! I have been meat-based for 2.5 years now. I was meat-only for a year and it helped a lot with healing. I find that some carbs (rice and skin-free apples are what works for me) has been necessary to manage my POTS (fluid retention needs?)
@illbeinmycoffin@bennessb I use a soft gel ice pack from the fridge, and place it right at my tailbone/lower back. This really helps, for me! Also, depending on your specific health issues, extra salt might be helpful (and extra water) to compensate for the extra sweating.
