Liverpool will play an additional behind-closed doors friendly against Como 1907 as part of their pre-season schedule.

The Reds are set to host the Serie A side at Anfield in front of supporters on Sunday August 16 (6pm BST).

The clubs will also contest a game earlier that same day behind closed doors, kicking off at 12pm BST.

This match will be streamed live on All Red Video, alongside all of Liverpool’s pre-season games this summer. 🔴

BREAKING: Iran directly responds to Trump‘s new threat on Truth Social that the US will from now on "bomb and destroy ONE BRIDGE OR POWER PLANT" in Iran including Tehran each time Iran strikes a ship in the Strait of Hormuz, saying "if the Americans target a bridge or a power plant in Iran, Iran will, in turn, strike infrastructure and bridges in the region, including energy facilities where the United States has interests," per an Iranian military source to Tasnim.

🇫🇷 Maghnes Akliouche is a very technically gifted advanced playmaker.

He’s best when operating in and around the edge of the penalty area, where he’s always looking to find penetrative passes for his teammates.

He’s got a great left foot and weighs his passes perfectly. He is effective at disguising his passes by using different parts of his foot and with his body positioning to come up with creative solutions.

He ranks in the top 10 wingers in Ligue 1 for chances created (42) and big chances created (8) this season.

He’s also a very progressive player who loves to be on the ball. He will regularly look to play through balls and play the ball forward with his link-up play.

Another aspect I like about him is that he’s a good pressing player, and also runs a lot without the ball.

Ranks 6th in Ligue 1 for possessions won in the final third (1.10 per 90) and in the 91st percentile for recoveries among his positional peers (5.61 per 90).

What you’re getting with him is a player who brings a lot of value in possession and who will look to unlock defences while also maintaining intensity out of possession.
