Wrap Up: Educators need to be careful about continuing to providing a safe classroom environment. Technology is awesome and offers so many possibilities, but it opens the door to many threats as well. We all need to be conscientious when using tech in the classroom. #tldeuno2021
A3: Teachers should think about relevance. Think about if the technology relates to the topics they are teaching in the classroom or if it helps enhance student understanding. Consider the best ways to implement the technology to meet both of these goals. #tldeuno2021
@mrs_rutledge37 Hi Lauren! Most places have a virtual tour on their website and the kids can click on things and look around the place on their own. Most of the tours I have done are the ones where kids can move at their own pace. I haven't done any where a person is taking them on a tour.
A2: My favorite ed tech tool this past year were virtual tours. These tours allowed students to explore museums and landmarks around the world. COVID put a stop to field trips, and virtual tours gave my students an opportunity to still have those experiences. #tldeuno2021
A1: Education technology is using technology to facilitate learning in the classroom. Ed tech increases collaboration among students and helps create an active learning environment. The overall goal of ed tech is to improve specific goals in education. #tldeuno2021
