Defense attorneys still use the “she was asking for it” defense. How does mandatory reporting stop any of this?

@OyakhireTaiye @ReallyAmerican1 The problem is that the US Constitution expressly forbids government establishment of religion. It’s the first clause of the First Amendment.

It means you can’t pick one faith and force it on others through any government agency. Public schools count as a government agency.

You’re using semantics to avoid an unpalatable truth: they tried to stop certification. They even wanted to hang the vice president. Last I checked, that counts as insurrection.

@beck_a_tron If I recall, his mother was the daughter of a peer, who married a wealthy gentleman rather than an aristocrat. His cousin Fitzwilliam, on the other hand, was a younger son of a peer (Earl, I think) and therefore ineligible to offer for Elizabeth Bennett, while Darcy was.
