@AWMemorial My maternal Grandfather was a Rat. As was my Uncle Doug. They both died early ( exposure to chemicals in Nth Africa. I’m the oldest in my clan and the only one who Remembers Pop. 53 years old. They went up and down Kokoda when they got back. They came home.
