My third publication focuses on the teaching of English in Fiji Secondary Schools. The paper was presented at the 2018 Vaka Pasifiki Education Conference held at #USP, Fiji. The paper was recently launched in a book titled 'It takes an island and an ocean' by #USP's Tonga Campus.

The list goes on. Btw, one aspect of school that I don't see these days are school interest clubs. Imagine if we had Theatre Club? A Film Club? An Art Club? A Music Club?!
Remember that slogan - We need Rainbows, not Rambos? Get more kids in the arts, not the Military.
@Suzy_679 Everything about @VodafoneFJ is money making. Ironically, in this digital age, they are still stuck in 1980s hassling their customers and all while their network connection still roams in the 70s.
I remember her being the crowd puller in the Culture Day Celebrations at RNC where I taught. The then PS Itaukei Affairs was moving around to diff stalls w/ media and his entourage when BuKini entered the ground with a bunch of banana in her shoulder waving FJ 🇫🇯. Isa BuKini. RIP
#FijiTimesSports | Kinisimere Rabulugaga, fondly known as Bu Kini, a beloved and passionate supporter of Fijian rugby, has passed away at the age of 87.

@GirmitDiaries Wrote a poem on Ba that was published recently. Ba has become a cultural hub for me now when I hear stories about the olden days. Oh! What life must have been and the changes are only too evident!
Two of my poems were published in an anthology titled ‘The Fijian Way’ by Vandana Nath in the Blue Crystal Lit Mag of UK. It’s an exciting feeling to be given an avenue to pen your thoughts. The book is available for purchase on Amazon. #FijianLiterature
They will put the blame game on the drivers for not being able to dodge the potholes anyway! Also, can we sue the state for accidents caused due to poor road conditions?
Can we talk about govts response to rape and robbery of the foreigners? Not that they deserve anything less but can we keep the same energy when it comes to locals?
While I appreciate the hard work put in by markers and exams office, I feel the timing to release the Year 13 results on 24/12 is not right. I would feel sorry for those who don’t make it and will have to go through the taunts and stigma of being a ‘failure’ this festive season.
Glad to see a Fijian, Dr. Vilsoni Hereniko, being appointed as the chair for 2025 #CWprize. The Rotuman born academic, writer and playwright’s work is currently being studied as part of Year 9 and 10 English Curriculum.
