Solid post. The problem is this does not feel like a win. It sounds like all we did was break stuff, and now we’re going to enable them to get wealthy and rebuild. Trump is our champion, and I think I see the 4D chess moves he’s making here, but I fear his obsession to make a deal with an untrustworthy regime, that will bring in foreign terrorists to murder 10s of thousands of its own people seems unwise.

What is also clear to me, Trump would not be “making a deal” at all if we had suitable weapon supplies. Let’s get on it!
