I'm building a waitlist tool for indie hackers.
Right now, the landing pages users can create include:
- Logo (optional)
- Headline
- Description
- Email input
- CTA button
That's it.
Would you use this for your next launch, or would you expect more (screenshots, FAQs, feature cards, testimonials, etc.)?
I'd love your honest feedback 👇
I'm at the start of my journey as indie hacker (3 months), and it's been a week since I'm trying to get visitors on my SaaS website.
Those are the results so far:
- 203 impressions
- 1 click
- 0.5% average CTR
- 19.1 average position
Are these good signs?

@cyrilgupta It mainly helps with collecting email addresses of people interested in your project and sending broadcast emails to those subscribers to inform them about the project advancements or if it's ready for launch.
I don't understand people who say you don't need link building to improve your brand's SEO.
Whenever someone tells me that, I know to disregard whatever else they say.
I mean, take a look at this example:
Ecom brand came to me for SEO help in March.
I fixed all the technical and on-page issues within the first two weeks.
Usually, Google recognizes those changes within a few weeks and you see a jump in organic traffic.
That didn't happen.
So what did I do?
I started building backlinks.
Lots of them.
Over 20 a month from relevant sites with real organic traffic.
(It looks like this tools hasn't registered a lot of them for whatever reason)
I appropriately spaced them out between the homepage, product category pages and blog content.
And four months later, I've moved 50+ target transactional keywords onto the 1st page.
Organic traffic has gone absolutely vertical as a result.
Show this to anyone who says link building isn't needed anymore.
You can literally see the positive correlation between referring domains and organic traffic.
SEO is no longer just about ranking in Google. In 2026, it also means being visible in AI-driven search surfaces like Google’s AI Overviews and ChatGPT.
This SEO checklist covers tasks that can help you gain visibility no matter where your audience is searching 👇

@Ahmadullah_Faiz I wasn't expecting that answer. I don't think I phrased my question very well. I wasn't really asking about the number of features. What I meant was: How do we know we've reached enough value to justify launching?
Find users on Indie Hackers.
Your target audience is already there.
Steps:
1. Create an account.
2. Share your progress.
3. Publish case studies.
4. Answer questions.
5. Ask for feedback.
6. Build relationships.
Invite members to test your product.
Reddit marketing hack that works:
1. Find 20 subreddits your customers use.
2. Join and leave only helpful answers.
3. See if anyone else is promoting.
4. Analyze and note the hook.
5. Mention your SaaS if necessary.
Marketing on Reddit is not easy.
Use Reddit like a user, not a marketer...
i've seen startups get 100k visitors a month and still make almost no money from seo
it's almost always the same reason. they chase top-of-funnel keywords that bring traffic but never bring buyers
bottom-of-funnel keywords are where the money is. lower volume, much higher intent, and most of them sit completely untargeted
how to find bottom-of-funnel keywords
> list every competitor
> search "[competitor] alternative"
> search "[competitor] vs [competitor]"
> search "[category] for [use case]"
> search "best [category] for [icp]"
> search "[category] with [feature or integration]"
> search "[competitor] pricing" and "[competitor] review"
> group similar searches together
> build one strong page per group
once you find out what they want, you can target them appropriately per page (no stuffing). then juice those pages with good internal linking
okara finds these gaps and writes the pages for you
Some updates on the creator rev share program:
1. Soliciting engagements (“I’ll follow everyone who replies”) 3 or more times will results in removal from the program and your account will be forwarded to the policy team for suspension. Grok now catches all of these.
Nearly 4000 accounts were removed from the program today.
2. Our new model now detects duplicated content at 3x the rate of the previous model. Adding watermarks, intros and other edits will send monetized impressions to the original uploader. This also includes copying viral text posts (most common one: “Twitter is like the smoking section of the internet”).
We detected 1.5 million posts that were stolen this cycle. Repeated or intentional circumvention will lead to removal from the program.
With these changes, over $1 million will be given back to original content creators.
