As an active #PfP contributor to NATO initiatives in various fields, Azerbaijan values opportunities such as the Bake Sale, which complement our longstanding engagement in the NATO Charity Bazaar and support charitable and community-focused activities. We were delighted to engage with colleagues and visitors from the NATO HQ through Azerbaijan’s colourful culinary traditions, offering a selection of delicious homemade treats that reflect the warmth and diversity of our rich culture.

The Head of the Mission, @JafarHuseynzade and the Head of @AzMilRepNATO, Colonel Ramil Hasanov were delighted to host a group of participants of the #NATO Familiarisation Programme from 🇩🇿, 🇪🇬, 🇨🇴, 🇬🇪, 🇯🇵, 🇰🇿, 🇲🇦, 🇹🇲, 🇺🇦 in the Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to NATO.
Within the framework of the visit to the Mission, participants were briefed with a presentation sharing Azerbaijan's experiences on the practical aspects of #partnership with NATO.
The aim of the traditional bi-annual @NATO Familiarisation Programme is to provide the participants with a detailed overview of @NATO outreach programmes and activities.

Head of the @AzMissionNATO 🇦🇿 was pleased to once again meet with H.E. Ambassador Gayrat Fazilov, Head of the Mission of #Uzbekistan 🇺🇿 to #NATO, EU, and Ambassador to Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg (@UzEmBenelux).

The two sides held a productive discussion on the exemplary and brotherly relations between the two countries, recent remarkable reciprocal visits by the respective Presidents, the successful implementation of @WUF13Azerbaijan, partnership with @NATO within the #PfP, as well as other topics of mutual interest.

Today marks the 103 anniversary of National Leader of #Azerbaijan 🇦🇿 Heydar Aliyev, who rendered invaluable services to our history of statehood, independence, and progress, and devoted his life and work to his people.

With unique vision for peace & security in the region & beyond, Heydar Aliyev laid the foundation of & always highly valued #Azerbaijan-#NATO partnership.

Today, the staff of @AzMissionNATO and @AzMilRepNATO paid tribute at the grave of an Azerbaijani soldier who fell in #Belgium during the Second World War #WW2. With pride and deep respect, we honored the memory of the millions of #victims of the war, as well as all our heroes who fought for peace, freedom, and human dignity.

The war, although fought beyond the borders of 🇦🇿, touched every family in Azerbaijan. Out of the 700,000 Azerbaijanis sent to the front, nearly half never returned, many sacrificing their lives in battle.

In addition to its human losses and military participation, #Azerbaijan played a crucial role in securing victory through its vital #oil resources.

Azerbaijan has long been, and continues to be, among the nations contributing to international #peace and #security.
