Europe's feeds are full of riots and street violence these days. The media's staying quiet on something else happening in Paris.
Iranian exiles and supporters are holding a massive rally at Place Vauban on June 20. Organizers expect well over 100,000 people. These are men and women who got out of the regime, and they're showing up in a peaceful, tightly organized way to protest the executions back home. So, why the silence from the media?
EPIS thinktank interview: Sahar Sanaei gives a wide-ranging analysis of Iran’s crisis — from repression & war to the prospects for democratic change, the role of organized resistance, and what Western policy can do to support a democratic future in Iran. https://t.co/kKMGc7A3p3
At least 18 prisoners were executed in Iran over just two days — May 31 and June 1 — with one victim 'hanged in public with utmost brutality,' according to the National Council of Resistance of Iran.
One human rights group tracking the killings says the real number is 'almost certainly' higher than the 784 they've documented this year because the regime 'frequently carries out executions in secret.' Five more political prisoners in Sheiban Prison face imminent execution right now.

For 45 years, the Iranian people have paid the price of resistance with blood, sacrifice, and unwavering courage.
On June 20, Paris will echo their demand for freedom and justice—a resounding rejection of executions, tyranny, and all forms of dictatorship.
The Iranian people seek neither a return to the past nor submission to the present, but a democratic republic founded on the values of Mrs. Rajavi’s Ten-Point Plan. Iran’s future belongs to its people and their organized resistance.

Forty-five years after the beginning of the resistance, the voice of the Iranian people remains stronger than ever. On June 20, that voice will resonate from Paris—rejecting executions and dictatorship, and supporting the NCRI’s provisional government, based on Mrs. Rajavi’s Ten-Point Plan for transferring power to the people. The future of #Iran belongs to its people.
