I just got the news that I had to get 4 years before, my brother Alim was imprisoned for 17 years. I am devastated and in desperate need for journalists' attention. We need to rescue Alim, and other innocent lives. Please DM me, if you are a journalist who covers Uyghur issue!
WATCH: @RepNewhouse explains how Chinese money laundering facilitates the flow of fentanyl to the U.S. ⬇️
“Chinese money launderers have taken the terrorist money laundering playbook and digitized it.
They use modern technologies, messaging and payment apps, e-commerce sites, digital assets in the opaque nature of the Chinese banking system to move large sums of money and facilitate trade based money laundering with impunity.”
For decades, East Turkistanis/Uyghurs have called on the U.S. Government to treat #EastTurkistan with the same regard as #Tibet. Since 1997, we have called for a Special Coordinator for East Turkistani/#Uyghur Affairs [Issues]. We now appeal to the U.S. Senate (@senatefrc) to ensure the passage of the #UyghurPolicyAct (S. 1252) and include this crucial role at the @StateDept. Our pleas and concerns deserve recognition and action.
⚠️The #XPCC's announcement of a special operation targeting "illegal fundraising" in Occupied #EastTurkistan from May 2024 to December 2025 must be examined in the context of ongoing colonial and genocidal policies in the region. East Turkistan, with its majority #Uyghur/Turkic population, has faced numerous draconian measures purportedly aimed at "ensuring stability and security." These draconian measures disproportionately targeted Uyghurs and other Turkic peoples, involving mass internment, surveillance, forced labor, genocide and crimes against humanity. The current notice's focus on a "high-pressure" approach and enhanced monitoring suggests a continuation of these stringent policies.
The so-called "publicity and education efforts" appear designed to manage narratives and enforce #CCP ideological conformity. Coordination among various levels of the Chinese government, the XPCC, and the military indicates a heavily militarized approach. These new measures claiming to target “illegal fundraising” will be used as a pretext for further targeting Uyghur/Turkic peoples under the guise of “maintaining social stability.” This is not about financial security; it is a calculated move to continue tightening control over Uyghur/Turkic peoples in occupied East Turkistan.
On February 20, 2024, the ETGE, leading a coalition of 60 East Turkistani and #Uyghur organizations from across the diaspora, submitted a joint letter to Congress urging it to recognize #EastTurkistan as an occupied country enduring Chinese colonization and calling for the swift passage of the #UyghurPolicyAct.

The #EastTurkistan Government in Exile (ETGE) urgently calls on the U.S. Senate to pass the #UyghurPolicyAct (S. 1252) without delay. This crucial legislation must align with the House version (H.R. 2766) introduced by @RepYoungKim and passed on February 15, 2024, to establish a Special Coordinator for Uyghur Issues within the @StateDept. The East Turkistani people have been advocating for such a position since 1997, seeking parity with #Tibet in U.S. policy.
🗞️📢 PRESS RELEASE: The #EastTurkistan Government in Exile urges the U.S. Senate to pass the #UyghurPolicyAct (S. 1252), with the inclusion of a Special Coordinator for #Uyghur Issues at the @StateDept, without delay.

BREAKING: Imports Under Closely Watched U.S. Trade ‘Loophole’ Surge
“More packages than ever are entering the U.S. under a trade provision—frequently used by e-commerce giants @shoptemu and @SHEIN_Official allows duty-free entry with little scrutiny.” https://t.co/JEMyCdN2Tp
Ninety-three years ago, on #February20, 1931, an event of profound political significance unfolded in #EastTurkistan, marking the start of a resistance movement led by Salih Darga against the aggression of Chinese occupation forces. This resistance ignited the #QumulRevolution which rapidly evolved into East Turkistan's National War of Independence, culminating in the establishment of the [First] #EastTurkistanRepublic on November 12, 1933.
The genesis of this conflict can be traced back to an incident involving a Chinese military officer's attempt to forcibly marry the daughter of Salih Darga, a prominent #Uyghur figure in #Qumul. This act, perceived as a grave dishonor to Uyghur and Muslim values, propelled Salih Darga to orchestrate a calculated response. At the wedding party on February 20, 1931, Salih Darga executed a strategic act of resistance by ensuring that the Chinese military officer and his fifty Chinese soldiers were shot after they became drunk. This event did not merely signify the start of the Qumul revolution; it symbolized the ignition of a broader war of independence that would lead to restoration of East Turkistan’s national sovereignty in November 1933.
"By recognizing #EastTurkistan’s status as an occupied nation and upgrading legislative actions, the U.S. can lead the international community in a meaningful stand against China’s relentless campaign of erasure and oppression." - Foreign Minister @SalihHudayar
Unfortunately, #China's spies are operating all across the world, not just in Europe. Chinese intelligence operations targeting the global East Turkistani diaspora with the aim of "preventing #EastTurkistan independence" and "preventing the internationalization of East Turkistan problem" are major issues that Western nations are sadly ignoring. @NCSCgov@DOJNatSec
The U.S. must ensure that we are not complicit in any way to the Chinese Communist Party's genocide against Uyghurs. The House passed my legislation, the No Dollars to Uyghur Forced Labor Act, that will ensure U.S. taxpayer dollars do not fund China’s enslavement of the Uyghurs.

Dancing game does not depict so called happy life of Uyghurs. The arbitrary imprisonment of my brother in law Azmat Bahti(艾斯买提 白和提) who is the history teacher at 兵团师范学校 and millions of other Uyghurs depicts the cruelty of CCP in the East Turkestan. Release them all!
