A cultural experience by @destination2030nigeria is finally here!
Designed to celebrate and showcase the rich and diverse creative industries of Nigeria to a global audience, on the sidelines of the @UN General Assembly in New York.
An initiative of the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, and the Creative Economy @FMACCE_Nigeria and supported by @afreximbank this event brings together policymakers, creators, government officials, and key stakeholders from around the world.
More than just an event, this is a celebration of Nigeria's creative spirit and cultural heritage - an opportunity to foster international collaborations and promote the growth of our creative economy.
Yesterday, The Ministry of Art, Culture, and Creative Economy @FMACCE_Nigeria hosted The Diplomatic and International Development Partners Forum at the United Nations House in Abuja. It was an honor to engage with ambassadors from over 15 countries and key international development partners, discussing collaborative efforts to advance Nigeria’s cultural and creative sectors.
The event showcased the ministry’s strategic roadmap in details and featured an art exhibition “Connected Culture” curated by the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC), highlighting the richness of Nigeria’s heritage from ancient times to the present day. I want to appreciate specially the @UN Resident Coordinator and @UNESCO Head in Abuja @ADiallo2018 for being a good host.
This forum is a significant step forward in our goal to promote and preserve our cultural heritage, international partnerships, and growth target for GDP contribution.
