Bright first showing at this tournament, adjusting to the Florida 🇺🇸 weather. Particularly liked the eye to go low + stick an arm out when evading pressure with ball-at-feet ~ was highly effective in these situations. Upon release his confidence grew as the game did; in the 1H the left-footer’s most prominent eye was sideways/safe circulation, but in the 2H attempted to play forward much more; held the ball for longer as well as created better angles ~ usually (created better angles) naturally by driving &/or evading rather than it being fully intentional, but there was also flashes of diligence to do so on occasions. Delivery into the area from deeper set-pieces was eye-catching whenever the chance came. 1x shot from a FK was no where near as praiseworthy. Good defensive application & effective off-ball coverage (albeit smaller pitch) throughout. Effective frame to put about at this level
