Why is everyone acting surprised that the SBC voted against women pastors? Until the last couple decades NO Christian denomination accepted women pastors. Why? Because it isn't Biblical.
Anthropic is by far the most dangerous AI company because they attempted to impose a veto on U.S. defense policy while simultaneously bragging about allowing foreigners to use the weapons-grade Fable and Mythos. They must be brought to heel or driven into bankruptcy.
I HAVE SPENT OVER 30 YEARS TALKING TO WOMEN ABOUT ABORTION. HERE IS WHAT I LEARNED.
Most women don't walk into an abortion facility because they hate their baby.
They walk in because they feel trapped.
They are scared.
They feel alone.
They think they have no support.
They are told abortion is their only realistic option.
What many needed was not an abortion.
They needed someone to stand with them.
A listening ear.
Practical help.
Financial support.
Truth spoken with compassion.
I've met women who regretted their abortions immediately.
I've met women who carried the pain for decades.
I've met women who found healing and hope afterward.
The lesson is simple:
If we want fewer abortions, we must love both mother and child.
Every woman deserves better than abortion.
Every child deserves a chance to live.

The harsh reality is that you will be seeing more of these New World Screwworm (NWS) confirmations every 24-72 hours for the next few months—it’s really tragic
What’s more tragic is that that USDA had plenty of time to act in the last 15 months to minimize and even prevent this crisis from unfolding —it’s just where we are
However, we stand by the assertion that there are certain actions the USG could take right now that would minimize impact, and we pray the Administration takes them as soon as possible
So we’re going to stress a few points:
1. The beef that you eat is safe. Period.
— NWS infests LIVE warm blooded animals, it DOES NOT affect raw or cooked meat
— best thing you can do right now is find a local producer and support them
2. If you are a pet owner, practice vigilant wound care
— check regularly for open wounds, doctor them, keep them covered up, especially if you spend a lot of time outdoors
3. If you are a producer, you probably already know this, keep a closer eye on your herd and keep in close contact with your vet
— we have faith that the ranching community knows their herd better than anyone else, and that they will be extra vigilant monitoring and doctoring during this crisis
— early detection and treatment is key
— your vet will have the most updated information and treatment protocols available
4. If you need help, don’t ever hesitate to reach out to us. We’re not experts, but we can do what we can to inform or point you in the right direction
We love this country deeply and hate to see it suffer, but we believe in the resilience of American people
God bless you all and stay safe out there 🇺🇸

I’ve been very interested in meteorology since I’ve become a pilot, so I looked into taking some college courses on the subject, and even considered the possibility of getting an associate degree in the subject, because, why not, right?
That’s when I discovered that the meteorology portion of the degree is basically 3 classes totaling 15 credits and the remaining 45 credits required for the degree were absolute trash liberal indoctrination bullshit courses and electives. I have zero doubt as to why these kids are so fucked up and broke now. 3/4 of the requirements have zero to do with the subject matter, and they are required to get the degree. Absolutely insane, college is a sham.
I'M A TERRORIST AGAIN
I have been detained at Heathrow Airport today for the best part of 3 hours.
I was detained under section 3 of the Counter-Terrorism and Border Security Act 2019.
My phone has been seized by the police.
So here we go again, looks like more defence and court fees ffs!!!
Absolute fucking madness.
Please help kick off my legal fund for defence here - https://t.co/IBf12EjvdO
Here is a story about a group of students who fundraised and worked for an entire year to bring Neil de Grasse Tyson to speak at an event:
"We were a small college club with around 10 members and on a whim one of our members emailed tyson's agent to see if we could book him. We found out it would cost 40k (it raised to 50k in December of that year where I think it still might be) for his speaking fee plus expenses to have him come to our college for 1 day where he'd host a small lecture, a press meeting, dinner with up to 6 people, and the main lecture and a book signing time permitting. We decided to go for it, and spent a year where our club exclusively worked on bringing him in.
When he arrived, myself and others introduced ourselves and our fields of study. He went after first of us in humanities or soft sciences pretty much relentlessly from the get go. We're all used to the philosophy major working at McDonald's joke, but he wasn't trying to be funny, and spent the ride from the airport making repeated comments about the uselessness of our majors. Additionally he spent about 5 minutes trying to show that logic was stupid but he was citing logical rules and Occam's razor.
The small lecture was him bragging about how famous he was, and how easy it is to pull yourself out of poverty or etc. The dinner was for leaders of other clubs so helped us raise money. He took the piss out of how one student held her fork, and was impossibly smug when giving advice to physics students.
The main event was a terribly boring lecture consisting of fart jokes and fan service; teasing the upcoming TV series he was in and not much else. He spent a quarter of the time reading Sagan's blue dot, which is nice but shouldn't have cost us because it wasn't his material.
He left at about 2am, and we were all exhausted because we had spent the day busy setting up and tearing down. The whole affair cost nearly 85k. The additional money being for locations, personnel, air fare, Tyson's hotel, catering, etc.
We all decided he was an ass hole. I'd never want to spend 16 hours with a celebrity again."
From another member of the same group:
"Neil deGrasse Tyson, who came to our university, gave a crappy speech rife with lame fart jokes, was rude and disrespectful with the people who organized the event (there were a couple campus clubs working on it for about a year). He equated one of the group's member's philosophy major as a degree in mental masturbation.
We were so pumped to hear a talk about the universe, astrophysics, black holes and dark matter, and instead he gave a speech on debunking lame pop media science misconceptions such as the "supermoon" because the organizing club is known as a skeptic/secular humanist society. He then basically said he did us a favor and that we "owed him one" for that.
He delivered a private lecture to our group and members of the campus physics club in which he realized he had said something witty, whipped out hsi iphone, and spent the next fifteen minutes trying to come up with the perfect wording for it to post it to his twitter. In the middle of a lecture we spent a year's work and $55k total to organize."
The @vademocrats and @GovernorVA Spanberger are going to spend $1,792,510 of taxpayer money to remove Confederate statues from Richmond
“Department of General Services shall remove and gift to the Shenandoah Valley Battlefields Foundation all Confederate monuments and memorials from Capitol Square, including the General Thomas J. "Stonewall" Jackson statue, unveiled in 1875; the Governor William "Extra Billy" Smith statue, unveiled in 1906; and the Dr. Hunter Holmes McGuire statue, unveiled in 1904."
I've asked what happened to the black community many times to understand it... And the answer is not really simple.
Well, it is, and it isn't.
It went wrong in ALOT of ways.
Primarily public school. Welfare. Leftism. Redefinition of families. Pretty much everything that liberalism wanted to institute, was done in minority communities first. And it destroyed us in about 3 generations.
Our grandparents and great grandparents and great great grandparents weren't this mess. They were better dressed and looking for dignity and respect in a young America that was giving them more opportunity. All the wealth redistribution raised generations believing handouts were normal.
The rebellious era of the 60s and 70s metastisized already existing rifts in black culture.
The Cold war era coincided with the civil rights era, and foreign countries propagandized directly to black youth, telling them real equality wasn't possible in America.
The Vietnam war removed a large number of men from the home. As blacks overrepresent in the military. And when they came home, they were too detached to be proper fathers.
Blacks used to be a strong moral voting bloc, but after a few decades of basically being targeted for pretty much every program and political nonsense, all that was left was a pointless sense of herd loyalty and victim mentality without a cause.
Republicans abandoned blacks, partly out of racial indifference and partly because it was too much work to make inroads to liberal strongholds.
Racial wounds were too easy to exploit, even by other blacks, so take all those problems, and multiply them by 3 and add corruption on top of it. Many of our cities are run by black politicians that fleece their own people, then lie and say it's all the white Republicans' fault.
With technology rapidly advancing, and public school detaching the youth from the family, older generations had no idea what vileness was about to be unleashed.
The idea that the father didn't need to be in the home? That's leftism too. The philosophy straight up doesn't believe in the nuclear family or in the need for fathers and mothers. It believes in "the community* raising kids. Well, blacks, who have historically been strong in "community" were the most susceptible to the poison.
Then as all of this breaks down in the inner cities, add in destitution, prostitution, and crime as people try to make ends meet.
Then blacks turn on each other, no longer trusting each other.
Blacks essentially suffer from hyper concentrated Marxist propaganda, grievance politics, and consumerism.
Everything people are fatigued about with the "black community" is merely a concentration of everything that will eventually be wrong with all of America. It's generational societal break down.
And it's not a coincidence that blacks vote heavily Democrat, despite it not making any sense... It's because... Hyper concentrated leftism is what has infected us.
You have to remember that blacks culturally tend to be more interconnected than more individualistic whites. So any problems spread QUICKLY. What was our strength essentially served to hasten our downfall in three generations.
Now, none of that negates personal responsibility, don't get me wrong. But as far as causes for this mess are concerned, there's a decent run down.
I didn't even get into the three factions that have existed among blacks since the end of slavery... That's another post, if anyone cares.
On the phone again, apologize for typos.
Un an.
L'option A soulage ta morale pendant 18 mois. L'option B sort des populations entières de la pauvreté pour toujours.
La pauvreté ne se redistribue pas. Elle se résout par la création. C'est contre-intuitif, c'est frustrant, mais c'est ce que disent 200 ans de données.
@EdMarkey You have been in congress for 50 years. You have put this country into $40 trillion in debt. And now you think 5% of Elon's wealth will magically solve all of your problems.
You are a parasite.
This order would flunk every part of an administrative law exam. There’s no standing. Plaintiffs have no cause of action. The matter is clearly committed to agency discretion by law. The judge is substituting her own judgment for that of agency. It’s pure lawlessness—and an indication why, properly understood, the APA does not authorize individual district judges to afford nationwide relief.
What socialism reliably produces, when imposed, is not equality but a closed caste. The Soviet nomenklatura had its sealed stores, hospitals, schools, and dachas. The Chinese Communist Party’s “princelings”—Xi Jinping among them—inherited political position as straightforwardly as any Habsburg. North Korea has produced three generations of Kims; the Castros gave Cuba six decades of dynastic rule. The empirical record is uncontested: every long-running communist regime has frozen its founding elite into a hereditary aristocracy. The system that promised to abolish class only ever abolished the class mobility that threatens its rulers.
it would be very funny if the american tech job market were saved by broad export controls on advanced models that forced companies to choose between (1) hiring only us citizens or (2) not using ai tools
A guy was ready to drop $1,500 on a new OLED TV because his 3-year-old Smart TV was freezing up and took 5 seconds just to respond to the remote.
He unplugged it. Deleted old apps. Cleared the cache. The lag kept coming back.
He went to Best Buy to get a replacement.
The home theater installer in the blue shirt stopped him: "Before you spend a grand, let me show you something."
He grabbed a remote and shook his head.
"There are 8 hidden tracking settings throttling your TV's processor right now. Manufacturers turn them all on by default. Nobody tells you they exist. Let's fix this."
Here's what he showed him in the next 8 minutes. 🧵
