Sure wish I was an 8th grader in @MrsKozimorFCPS ‘s ELA classes today! Tables are set with “menus”, snacks and various books to “taste”. They’ll then select one as their novel of choice for the unit. Kids are excited and engaged! #UMSHawks

The Hawk Nest faculty was focused during their PL this week on the MBE Core Idea of: RETRIEVAL PRACTICES. It is the most robust strategy to mitigate stress & commit newly learned material to long term memory. @TheCTTL @FCPSMaryland
